Hi Im aware that Pgd Ivf would give me exactly what I want but I dont do well on a lot of hormones and medication (cant e.g. take the pill) so I want to attempt Microsort IuI. They still seem to use clomad etc there though. Is the use of hormones significantly less on Microsort or is the difference btwn the two not that noticeable?

I'm not aware anyone is doing Microsort IUI any more.

I will never ever ever recommend Microsort + IUI because when it was being trialed in the United States, I saw dozens of people do hundreds of cycles and only two ever got pregnant. Of those two, one was an opposite (with a 92% X sperm sort, she still got a boy)

I would ONLY ever recommend pursuing IVF/PGD for gender selection.

Your pregnancy chances are very low with IUI. Microsort is not offered in the US anymore. We use hormones to yield multiple eggs with IVF. There is no way around it. It's IVF or swaying. Swaying doesn't introduce artificial hormones.
