I have been off the LE diet since January( mainly for 2 reasons: I didn’t want another November/December baby, so we were skipping those months of ttc, and two because I went from 110 pounds to 97, and my family was getting very worried about me losing too much weight, and I did have some dizzy spells from not eating enough). Because of losing too much weight, I don’t think I can really be on the LE diet for 3 months before ttc. We are going to ttc again in May. I have gained some weight back. I now weight 104.

My question is: have you seen more success with starting the diet 1.5-2 months before ttc or more success starting the LE diet the month I ttc? Is there something about the turbo diet that puts your body into shock which sways girl? Of course, that would be easier, but which one has more success?

By far we have gotten substantially better results with 6+weeks on diet. I can't recmmend anyone being on diet less than 6 weeks before TTC.

What you need to do is relax the limits to prevent weight loss. Keep in limits of protein and fat (or close) and then up cals however much you need.
