Hey everyone. I thought I’d run a poll to see what anyone’s outcomes were from conceiving directly after miscarriage, with no period cycle in between. Seeing as this pregnancy of mine has come after a 6-7 week miscarriage and no cycle I decided to just look into it, to entertain myself for the time being really lol . It seems I’ve found an overwhelming amount of people on other sites that have had miscarriages and conceived boys right after. Very little girls were a result. Kind of crazy, I know over here it’s recommended to try directly after For pink sway. I wanted to see firsthand on here if anyone has had this experience and what gender you got. Wishing you all happy healthy pregnancies/and journeys to a healthy pregnancy!

I had a mc at 7 weeks in October and conceived directly after (found out 1month to the day i was pregnant again) and it has been a healthy pregnancy so far and I am 25 weeks! And it's a girl this time so there is hope!

I had a miscarriage with a sway pregnancy in 2014. Conceived our third boy right after that (with swaying).

I had back to back miscarriages in 2013. Without a cycle in between. Then again, without having a cycle, got pregnant in March 2013 and had a baby girl in November 2013. I had a miscarriage in July 2015, had a couple cycles, got pregnant in October 2015 and had a girl June 2016.

Thank you all for your responses. I’m sorry for all your losses as well! Truly ❤️. It seems like a mix of genders it seems. I guess it goes both ways but I wonder what Atomics actual stats are on it. 🙂

I choose not to keep stats on that because I believe it to be misleading. If someone had a loss at 4 weeks vs. later on, the reasons for the loss, what they were eating and taking for supps, that kind of thing. Plus just someone being ABLE to conceive quickly after a loss, when not everyone can, means that it is not a random sampling of people, it's only those who could get pregnant after a loss. There are too many variables involved to yield quality data and so I don't keep stats.

We do believe losses sway pink but it's from common sense not our results. Everything that gently suppresses fertility (such as, having recently been pregnant) sways pink and so we assume that losses sway pink on that basis.

Ohh really! I thought it was from stats you yielded that opinion, it does make sense about anything that suppresses fertility. But I guess it makes sense why there seem to be so many opposites given each persons circumstance. Well, I certainly hope it worked for me... I go for an early 16 week scan just to keep an eye on peanut because of all my past issues, so I’m 2 1/2 weeks away from that and I can’t wait to see if I can find out! Praying for nothing but news of a healthy peanut on that ultrasound. I’ll definitely update you if I find out the gender then. Trying to keep in mind that it’s possible for me too since I got things under my belt that only could help. the miscarriage, diet, fibre, hubby on OLE! Not sure about CM being true but I was drier than I’ve ever been since I stopped bleeding all the way to conception so we will see lol I think with all that I’ll actually be shocked if it’s a prince peanut hahaha Praying for it all to work out

If you would prefer to have statistics we have 74% success with TTC pink after a loss with a sample size of 31.

Some studies also found more girls conceived after losses, but a couple others didn't find the same link (this happens a lot with sways)

I just don't find them to be useful, that's all.

I had MC at 16 weeks after a girl sway, MC 2 after that with partial sway at 8 weeks. Stopped swaying and just wanted a baby and got pregnant with a boy

Mom25boys oh wow. This is exactly my story but I don’t know what I’m pregnant with yet. I had a miscarriage at 16 weeks with a fantastic girl sway as well, got pregnant 6 months later and had a miscarriage at 6 weeks. And now I am pregnant straight after that loss with no period in between. I’m curious, did you have any cycles (or
Periods) after your loss at 8 weeks and getting pregnant with your boy?

Is that the very first cycle after a period? Or did not wait for first period to arrive?

We don't know, I can't control how people respond to the questionnaires that thoroughly. Keep in mind that those people had been pregnant anywhere from 4 to 12 weeks or maybe even longer, their periods took all different lengths of time to come back, etc. I suspect that the further along you are, the longer the effects of a loss last, but I don't have the data to prove it or not yet.
