I’m doing both, but because I’m still breastfeeding and waking up a lot through the night, my temps are all over the place. And I used to ovulate closer to my positive opk, but the last three cycles it seems more like 48 hours after...:/

A little back story, DH and I have been married for 8 years and dreamed of having a big family. It took us 3 years to conceive our DS, who is 4. He was our rainbow because we suffered through back-to-back (unknown caused) miscarriages before him.
Now, after having DS my cycles became irregular and I started experiencing anovulatory cycles (no ovulation) and reached out to my GYN. We have been ttc #2 since DS’s 1st b-day so, it’s been a little over 3 years. After going through fertility treatments unsuccessfully the past 2 1/2 years and ruling out problem after problem, I got off fertility prescriptions for 3 cycles (March/April and now May) and I ovulated on my own March/April!
After hearing that, our specialist set up a second HSG this cycle on CD 11 (last Monday) and gave my uterus and tubes a “good flush” so we can see what my shape is and have a good chance this cycle. I’m hoping that I will ovulate on my own again this cycle and FX that our days of waiting will be over!

I’m throwing caution to the wind.. no OPk, no temps just e4d,and diet ( well best I can ) , so no idea of ovulation. I’m CD 15, so I should have 12 days left of cycle .

Well I hit an iceberg, so-to-speak.
On Monday (CD 17) an exact week after the HSG, I started feeling very crampy and bloated and feverish. Then about an hour after all that happened I started bleeding heavy bright red blood. I called the fertility doctor and told her everything that was happening and she explained what to look out for and took more details. The next day I was bleeding so heavy, it was heavier than I have ever experienced. I had almost 3 pad changes an hour along with a 100.3 fever and very flushed feeling. I called in, she set me up with an appt for Wednesday and told me go right to the ER, yuck. I hate the ER. My husband overheard and took me even though I just wanted my bed! Tests were normal no infection, so we were relieved. But, confused as to why I am bleeding still.
She did say that since taking provera to start my cycle for May that this could be my authentic healthy cycle...
At this rate I am just going to count it as CD 4 since it’s constant like a regular period.
So I’m out for the month of May, because we wouldn’t conceive this month [emoji17]
My heart has torn a bit over this and blood tests and opks have shown that I did not ovulate either. [emoji174]

Oh RockieAnn, I’m so sorry. It’s always disheartening. But sounds hopeful that there’s no infection. If it is your period, there’s still a chance to conceive this month .

ThanksNo one can really tell you because everyone's body is different, but I guess it just depends on how many you want to buy? I have seen people's line progression start at 9dpo with a very very faint line and then they continue to take them until they get dye stealers at like day 15 or 16. So however early you want to start!

Tested this morning (Tuesday) and got a negative! My period is due Thursday so I think that’s me out this month!

Such a strange month - I have had very very little cm which I thought might be a sign of pregnancy!

I thought af was coming yesterday not due until Thursday but was just brown discharge tiny bit ( sorry tmi ) but no af came would have been really early though! Took a preg test - just a cheapie was negative :-( xx good luck other ladies xx

Sometimes our bodies do some weird things... That we can’t explain ..
I remember with Ds2 I had a massive bleed, which I thought was my period on CD 24! And I went a whole 3 weeks waiting to ovulate ... never happened. It turned out I was 7w pregnant ...
I have no idea where I was going with this.

Just keeping you all updated. It’s CD 27 for me. My specialist didn’t want me to start over after all, even though it was like a normal 6 day period. I think I’m just going to count myself out this month as it’s been far too hectic of a cycle for my own liking.
I do think I ovulated somewhere around CD 17 (I had the darkest opk line) but, feel like with the blood shed on CD 18-23 nothing reached the egg in time and got flushed out. Which sucks because we attempted two days before CD 17.
Anyways, all opks have been negative since CD 24. They want me testing until my next AF to make sure I’m not ovulating late. But, at this point I don’t understand why this is happening when this has never happened before.
I have had enough of this stressful month and I want to skip my birthday week so I won’t remember when I could have taken a test. [emoji17][emoji174]

My 5dpo temp is the same as my daughter... boys were never that high 🤞🤞🤞

Sometimes our bodies do some weird things... That we can’t explain ..
I remember with Ds2 I had a massive bleed, which I thought was my period on CD 24! And I went a whole 3 weeks waiting to ovulate ... never happened. It turned out I was 7w pregnant ...
I have no idea where I was going with this.
When is your birthday? Maybe you should take it easy and have some fun. XX

My birthday is on the 27th but, not celebrating until the 28th which DH wants to take me to go ride some roller coasters.
It’s been years since iv been to a coaster park so, I just might go for it [emoji2374]
As for bleeding,
I also bled with my DS during the 9th week of the pregnancy. Which was about 3 weeks after finding out about our DS on an ultrasound scan. I remember how terrified DH and I were, having had the 3 miscarriages before DS.

I guess breastfeeding can throw cycles haywire can’t it ! and maybe your body geared up for ov and didn’t till a little later .

I wish I could but, iv been so irregular lately. my usual cycles are 32 days, but, since January they have been up to 42 days.
I’m going to wait this week out and half of next week since we’re going to take that road trip to see our friends and some of my in-laws. Also giving us time this go around, if it’s not my body playing tricks. I am a POAS addict but, it has been a super crazy month!

Haha 😀 thanks the funny thing is last month I had so many PMS symptoms I thought I may be pregnant because I don't usually get much symptoms so on my AF due date took a test and it was a BFN and the next day AF came. This month no symptoms and no AF? I also only have one test left and don't want to waste it ☺

I never managed to get a positive, but I’ve been taking my bbt and it looks like I may have ovulated Friday. Or my temps are so out of whack from Night shifts. I’ll see what happens over the next few days. May get AF - due tomorrow .

Possibly, but maybe you ov later than you expected. I usually have 25-26 day cycle too, but every now and again I get one a bit longer. 30-33 days . Could just be me though haha...

We had sex around the time we thought I ovulated the first time. Which was May 4th-5th. (CD 16-17 the normal time) I had the ovulation pains but, ran out of opks and the next day CD 18 was when the confusing bleed for 6 days happened so I t was never confirmed. I took a hpt on Sunday (CD 31) it was negative and I went back to using the opk’s! Having the +opk yesterday and today, we’re going to attempt sometime today!

As much as I wouldn’t want to, I think you should wait a few more days then test! I feel like it’s very very faint, almost evap like? But, if it’s not an evap it will be darker in a few days for sure! Fx for you[emoji1694][emoji3590]

Yeah possibly, I’ve had one with Ds3 but it was huge. My temps are about the same. I don’t take it orally so they are a little higher.

The symptoms are so similar, that yes, sometimes you think it could be either . Cramping can be a sign of pregnancy and also AF coming, sore breasts can be a sign of either, I also get a really emotional with Both ! Hahaha
The only way to tell is through HPT [emoji4]
Or if you are taking bbt and it remains high with absence of AF .

It’s ok lovely ladies, 6-9 months is “normal” time frame for ttc , some take up to 12 months. Do lose heart just yet [emoji3590][emoji3590]

Sent from my iPhone using TapatalkIdk, all the symptoms of early pregnancy to me are the same as AF... I'll get pain in my breasts randomly, fatigue, etc. & get excited that I'm pregnant but nothing, lol. So I've kind of just stopped paying attention to those things tbh.

I was doing smep, and diet ( as best as I can ) a couple of months ago, as directed by atomic , but it was too much with my work . (Nights ) So I’ve stuck with e4d . I have never done a great deal of other things in my sway, with my age, and other fertility factors, I don’t have the option to go too hard. I have contemplated giving femara a go for a couple of months again. And then doing e4d and one at +ve OPk . It would be nice if I could ov on my days off [emoji23][emoji23]

Hi ladies, I have a little update not too much. I’m about 8 dpo and had a blast celebrating my birthday today as it was filled with nothing but, DH, me and short 5-15 minute lines for some roller coasters! Lol, wasn’t bad or too busy at all!
Things that have happened between yesterday and now, is that I have had cramps, weird twinges, constipation and this very annoying flair of nausea that happens whenever it wants to. Its driving me nuts. Today I couldn’t stand the smell of garlic bread, I wanted to puke.... and I LOVE garlic bread[emoji17]
Hopefully we’ll find out what’s going on soon and have a good result in the end.

Dr won’t give me clomid , I’m over 40, so it’s not recommended.

How is everyone doing? Currently 8+5 and dying of morning sickness and nausea. Did anyone have sickness and nausea with a boy?? Because everyone I've talked to says it points girl or they were never sick with their boys so now of course I feel like my sway failed because I am sick with this pregnancy again [emoji24]
