I’m looking to start the LE diet but wondered if anyone uses an app which adds up your daily intake to keep me within the limits?

People do use apps, but none of them are very reliable - the nutrient info isn't always correct in them and in some areas, like potassium and sodium, they're very often incorrect. I know it's a bit old fashioned but I really do think the easiest way is just a paper and pen.

Hello!
Sorry to crash the thread - but for a blue swayer would it be good to keep track of everything like that? I did last time old fashioned style but think that an app that will allow me to ensure that I “see” I have paired my carb+protein etc might be good? :)

No. I feel like blue swayers feel very overwhelmed when they try to track everything. If you can do it without feeling stressed by it all, without feeling like you need to eat meat, potato, bread, veg, nuts, chocolate, etc at every meal then it's fine.

Are we to be tracking potassium and sodium? I haven’t been?

No I don't want you guys to track protein and sodium at all. But some people do and get really upset when they think they're not getting enough, or are getting too much, because the apps aren't accurate.

No, def wouldn’t stress over that... I just like to be thorough and keeping track helps me force myself to eat enough good foods rather than easy junk( which alas are my downfall..hence 3 girls lol) ...definitely wouldn’t go OTT tryin* to cram every possible blue food at all sittings/ all the time lol thanks :)

In that case if it's helpful to you by all means! :)
