View Full Version : Diet Problem!

Has anyone had a problem reintroducing meat into their diet after being a LE? I have been on a very strict diet with no meat for a few months, and I'm just starting to reintroduce meat now. But about 6 hours after eating it, I am getting horrible stomach pains, so much so that I had to go to A&E last night for an injection to stop the pain. I have also been vomiting all night and still have stomach pains this morning.
Has this happened to anyone else? And if so, how did you go about reintroducing meat? I didn't realise this would be a side affect of the diet, though I understand everybody is different.
Thanks

No I haven't had anyone report that in 10 years!
A few people (myself included) weren't really thrilled with meat for a while and obviously if you suddenly ate a LOT of meat it might give you a bellyache after, but no one has mentioned becoming violently sick from meat me. Could it be food poisoning or a virus?

Could it be your gallbladder reacting to the sudden fat increase? Just throwing out a guess.

Thanks heaps Clark, I have been researching this tonight since I saw your post. I'm going to slowly try introducing meat again next week and keep this in mind if it happens again.
