Hi dear friends. Sorry not writting. I was facing my mom surgery (which came out ok!) So i had to postpone my treatment one cycle.
I went to make ultrasound last friday expecting my period to arrive on past weekend but they found a 16mm follicle and count start medication. I kept waiting wishing my period not to come during weekend because fertility centre do not open and i had to star meducation on 2nd day pf period.
My period came on monday night so went to test my stradiol on blood and to make ultrasound.
They found all ok so told me to start with two medication (inyections) per day till sunday and go to new ultrasound on monday 😊. So im happy i started yesterday night.
Hope all goes ok and be able to get some fertile follicles.
This is my firts and only icsi because i turn 44th on july and medical assurance dont cover it any more so hope i have a chance this month
Wish me luck! Hugs for all of you

Well today went for ultrasound. They found 4 follicles growing and some more smaller. My doc says it depends if they go on growing. She gave me more med for today and tomorrow and go for ultrasound again on wednesday. I read four is few for icsi. Hope they keep growing and some of them will be capable to fertilize.

But given your age that is not a surprising result. We only need ONE XX and I am hoping and praying you get LOTS! :)

She gave me medication to make me ovulate in 36hrs and they will extract my follicles (i dont now if its writter ok) to fertilize on saturday morning together with my husband sperm sample. Good luck and  for lots of healthy babies particularly XX!

8 is great! You may even have more as they probably only measured above a certain mm. I can’t remember if I saw it on here or elsewhere online, but I remember reading that with estradiol levels for every 100 it is supposed to be indicative of 1 follicle. When I cycled, my estradiol level at last check was 1057. I ended up with 10 retrieved, all 10 mature and fertilized, and of those 10 embryos 8 made it to testing & freeze. So the estradiol levels seemed to be fairly accurate for me. I wouldn’t be surprised if you have around 10-12 or so eggs retrieved. Keep us updated!! And fingers crossed for excellent numbers and quality!!

Hi dear friends! And thank you blushpinkbaby for all your explanation. You were right!
Today webt to surgery and they got 10 follicles. Tomorrow doc will be calling us to let us now if they fertilize..
But im pretty sad. All went ok but yesterday night got one or two sport of blood. Again today just a few and told the docs. After i went to recovery room they told me they wont be able to make transfer this cycle because they found som liquid inside my endometrious. That everything was ok with my endometriou till thrursday ultrasound but today wasnt and could be so much medication..im pretty sad that my endometrio is the problem or wont be able to do transfer ither cycle. Anyone had any experince in this?
They saud surely doc next cycle will prepare my endometrious with medication by pills. I dont know how all of it is. Im a little afraid of tomorrow answer about if follicles fertilized and also because thye told me they would transfer in stage 3 to give more chance and not lopse them waiting for stage 5. But i read they have to be stage 5 to freeze is it ok?
Also will this liquid go away? Im in pai now because it hurst. Doc says that stay in bed today tomorrow and part of monday because my ovaries where big..
I font know how many doubts and docs dont explain all
Hope all goes ok. Thank you for reading my friends

Oh no, well, the thing is that if they transferred now it would be not good chances of conception so they're doing the best thing for you.
Will it still be covered by your insurance next month?? I hope so.
You definitely don't want to be pregnant in any month your ovaries are big and swollen, that could be harmful for you. Just follow the doc's suggestion and if it seems to be getting worse you should call them, don't try to stay tough, if it gets bad you need medical treatment to drain off the fluid.

Hi my dear friend. Thank you so much for readng and your support. I contacted my personal doc and said to stay calm that that liquid surely is blood because of the meducation. That next month will be ok. That docs are doing ok as every embryo is gold and dont want to loose them..better to wait that i will be ok. And he let me take better medication for pain because this month wont transfer. So im starting to feel a bit better. Tomorrow we will be specting for the fertility center doc call to let us now if any fertilized. Hope we get one at least. Fi gers crossed. I will keep update. Yes! Doc says that transfer is covered as i started already the treatment. Hope he is rright. Hugs my friend!

Hi dear friends. Today Doc came back with news that could vitrify just one embryo in stage 5. So we have two. One in stage 3 and one in stage 5. im a bit sad because of ten just two make it..and we dont know if stage 3 is good enough to reach 5, and we dont know either quality of any of them. didnt told us..
Hope we can make it..its our last chance making isci
I guess now that with so much help we got only that ttc alone is impossible for us..with just one follicle doin all by it self and good endometrious in same cycle...oh :(

That's actually quite common given your age. It's not unusual at all. And it does not mean that you can't get pregnant naturally. For reasons we don't understand, older couples don't respond as well to the IVF medications. It is like we are driving a car that only goes 25 mph - even when the doctors give us medicine that should speed up our car to 75, our car still only goes 25 and makes one or two good eggs a month. That is enough to get pregnant naturally! You want as many eggs as possible with IVF, but to TTC naturally, you only need the one and so not having success with IVF doesn't mean you can't get pregnant naturally. In fact lots of my clients have been people who did not have good results with IVF who then did go on to conceive on their own!

Thank you for your support dear friend. Its that actually we have been trying to get pregnant by our own for almost 2 yesrs and nothing...it seams im also having trouble with my endometrious ..so ..well if we dont make it with isci we will keep searching but not so activily as its has been hard and ee know we just have 2% each month and i cant handle it any more. Hope we still have any chance with our embryos

Sorry to hear that only 2 made it to freeze, but I do think that is great when you factor in your age and how hard IVF is the older you are. So I do think that is worth being happy about. And, that is still 2 embryos waiting for you!! So as long as your endo doesn’t get in the way, you should be good to transfer. Fingers crossed for you!!

Thank your dear friend. Monday started with strogen pills to prepare endometrium. First check on friday. Hope this month well be able to transfer.
Doc gave us info of our embryos.
They say our embryo stage 3 is category 3 with 8 cells. And embryo stage 5 is category 4AB.
Doc suggested to try first with embryo stage 3 but not to tra sfer to let it try to get to stage 5.
I told her that could be a risk because of 9 only one got stage 5 and dont want to loose it. If it does not hav better chances if its is transfer to me no matter what its stage 3. If does not have better chances to progress i side of me. And doc say no.. same chances of progess inside of me thatn in laboratory. That if it does not progess neither would do it inside of my uterus.. i read different..so i said didnt want to loose any and wantes to attemps. So she said that if i want that no problem. We would tra sfer stage 5 and then if not make it transfer stage 3.
I dont know if im mistaken and doc preference was a better way.. i dont want to loose it. Guess is less painful if she says didnt make it to stage 5 than to try and wait fir beta and got the same result. Its that i read that inside of me would have better chances to progess. Is that wrong?

I agree with your take - the doctor may think it's less painful for you to skip the transfer if it doesn't make it to stage 5. But I have also read the chances may be better inside you so I think you did the best thing. We don't really know and so I think it's best to follow your heart!

Hi dear friend. Thank you for your words.
I hoped i coild bring good news today but dont.
Today went for my second ultrasound taking ronfase to prepare endometrium. Ifirst ultrasound found again a bit of liquid as they found the cycle the got .y follicles but told me was still early and could desapear. To take three pills per day and atend today to check and hope to b able to start with progesterone and decide transfer..but..always but.. they found liquid again
They cancelled again and told me that to go and have an appointment with a doctor to do and hystero and have an endometrium biopsy and take out liquid. And check resultd of biopsy.
Im so sad and afraid. She said it could be ishtmocele from my previous surgery but my doc says its imposible because it doesn t keep producing liquid and would be too little from the scar recorded. That they want to check ifs it not a bad cell producing liquid in my endometrious..meaning cancer. Im so so afraid
I have to wait a lot because i have an appointment with thst ew doctor but then goes on vacation till august..i know will take a lot to get to get done the histero and have results of biopsy.. i m afraind im ot being able to have a baby anymore that something bad happens to my uterus and obviosly also to have the desease...
I wish i could think thats just liquid but nothing can explain why it is there and keeps being there and i always felt somehing went wrong with my endometrious from the begining because it never was just right measure or form whenever took an ultrasound all this time..even before starting with fertility centre and no doc pay attetion to it..

OH NO I'm so sorry to read this - there was another girl on here who had mysterious fluid in her uterus for no reason and she went on to have two more babies after that. I think it's good you're getting it checked, but how awful they are making you wait till the doc comes back from vacation??
We are all hoping and praying that this turns out to be nothing. Please please please keep us posted on how you're doing.

Thnak you so muh dear friend. Yes im so sad and worried. It gives me hope you say there was anther girl having same pronlem and turned out ok. I really hope its my case.
The problem is that the doc fertility centre sent me is not same doc from same centre. They dont have a doc for that speciality. So she recommended me to a doc that do hystero and endometrium biopsy from another centre and it turned out to be that he goes on vacation so i got to have an appointment this tuesday but then go to vacation so its an interview i dont know if he will be able to make study on me or if someone of his team can or how all will ne schedule but it will surely take time as my actual doc says it has to be done in a moment of period just before period ends when endonetrious is bigger and im just at that moment because i have bern taking pills for that but they wont do study just know because they dodnr even have first inteview. Doc says to stop taking pills and i wil have period in a week more or less..so i guess they will have to wait till my period is about to mestruate again..so guess will be at least next month if doc is ack and all in orders.
Apart from that i have to make heart check again..they made me check before i went into operating theather last time to get my follicles and they lost it and now i wil need a new one to do hystero..
I will keep updated dear friend thank you for being there

As a sonographer, we see fluid in the endometrium sometimes. (In fact, we are actually taught a seperate way to measure the endometrial lining when there is fluid, it's that common..) I have never heard of it being particularly concerning for cancer. Good luck to you!
