Hi everyone my question is can you have sex whatever the pattern is using protection in the lead up to a positive opk and then have the one attempt then
My husband is not happy about the abstaining issue and is 43 so would it matter

At 43 he should not be abstaining anyway as it makes for unhealthy sperm.

None of the frequency patterns (neither the abstain nor the one attempt) has worked so it is perfectly fine to just let him "do what he does" (using protection) and then have only the one unprotected attempt.
