I’m on cycle day 16 and have had stronger lines on my OPKs but nothing positive yet. Last month I got an almost positive, but not quite. I have a 29 day cycle every month. Should I try digital ones perhaps? Month 2 of diet currently.

I would at least twice a day, i know near my fertile days i would test even 3 times a day incase it was a short surge.
Not sure exactly how many times Atomic recommends

Not sure if everyone gets a full on positive or what each individual interpretates a positive to be, ive never used digital so cant comment but i know if i started digital now, itd do both and confuse myself as read so many times the different tests provide different results.
Maybe post ur next near positive and people can comment on how positive it is..?

What I would have you do is have an attempt when you think it's time, but keep testing.
The digi ones may work better for you - somettimes people do see better results with a different kind.
What time of day are you testing?

Thanks, ill see how next month goes. I’ll start testing maybe twice a day from when my period stops (day 5), morning and afternoon?
I was testing around 3pm.
Thank you!

I wouldn't start testing twice that early, wait till CD 8ish at first and then once you get the hang of it you can even wait till more like CD 10.
No morning testing (unless your directions say to test then) I want you testing after lunch and before dinner. Start off with testing just 1x a day, after lunch. Then if you think the tests are darkening up (or CD 12, whichever comes first) start testing 2x a day.

Starting to get a surge. This is day 11 lunch time. Barely picked up anything yesterday. Will keep posting here to keep track. https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20190626/6dc95ae33c00ed60543f869790efd7fb.jpg

Yes I'd def have attempt, whether or not to keep testing is up to you. Some people like to know if they may have delayed O (in that case you'd get another positive in a few days or a week or so) but to be honest I think it adds more stress than it relieves. What you could do instead is have attempt, stop testing, and do e4d (in the every 96 hour pattern or Monday/Friday, whatever's easier for you to understand) for either the rest of the cycle or at least a couple of go rounds - that way if the egg shows up afterwards, you're still in with a chance. Your call to make though

I think stopping testing will work for me and then e4d possible too. Will see how we feel led. Thanks!

Checked with another OPK at lunch and the surge is gone! That must be why I missed the proper positive the last couple of months! I wasn’t testing at dinner!

Excellent! Thanks for updating us, it's your experiences that have taught me what to expect with OPK!

Thanks so much. We had our attempt just after I did that OPK so now here we are waiting. Do I start DPO 2 days after that test?

Hello! Day 14 today. OPK was negative last night. Just before lunch today it was positive and now is negative. Will an attempt tonight be too late?

Sorry only just now saw this. Your OPK going negative don't tell you if ovulation has happened or not. The OPK only detect the surge that triggers ovulation and NOT whether it has happened or not. So you need to have attempt, your egg has likely not dropped yet.
You will ovulate an average of 24-36 hours after the first positive attempt. Your test can go negative before ovulation, or your test can stay positive for day(s) after ovulation. They aren't tied together so precisely the way people think they are.

It can be from O being delayed OR it can be just a fluke with some leftover hormone coming out in the urine. Just continue having attempts till you're sure you've ovulated.
