I’m hoping I get a good nub pic at the next scan. This is the first time I’ve ever done a Nuchal, so it’ll be cool to see bub at that gestation. Plus I have a subchorionic haematoma which I’m worried about, so fingers crossed it’s smaller at the next scan

Updated due date to 26 Jan so I'm actually only 8 weeks instead of 9 like we thought, but I dont care bc baby is looking healthy and heartbeat was strong at 162! I had the blood part of my nuchal test done yesterday at 11 weeks exactly. When would be the best time to get the scan done? I didn’t do it for the last 5 kids so don’t know what to expect

Not keeping well. I am having one or the other problem daily. Have fever and severe intolerable headache.
I've read that headaches are common if you are carrying boy, this is getting me so worried now!

Mommyof4boys I think NT scan is best if you get it done at 13 weeks or so, if you are hoping for a good nub shot ..

So exciting!! Fingers crossed you get the results you’re hoping for :)Thanks me too! And the only test offered in our area is the clinical sneak peek. Makes me nervous bc I hear sneak peek is inaccurate but I think that's just with the home tests. Hopefully the clinical is accurate! Mommyof4boys I think NT scan is best if you get it done at 13 weeks or so, if you are hoping for a good nub shot ..get well soon TA, I had those headaches but that ain't a sign of carrying a boy its just a myth its all to do with blood pressure I think,

Looks like too many pink swayers are on the board till now. Even the bestest sway doesn't work or the worst sway does work. It's all pot luck. Have confidence in your sway.. Maybe it's a little girl cooking in there. Are you gonna find out??

I shall be finding out about 15/16 weeks but hoping for a good nub shot next week to ease me in gently lol

Is anyone else getting crazy pregnancy dreams?

I dreamt last night that DH had an affair and run off with my rather elderly 70 plus year old neighbour. I woke up in a cold sweat and didn’t know whether to be horrified or laugh my head off.

The other day I dreamt I had a row with my mum over donating the elder kids old toys. It’s all been very very crazy and very unlike me who usually hits the pillow and wakes up in the morning lol.

Hey Iwant4 good that the baby is healthy.. Heart beat has nothing to do with gender.. With my DS FHR was always above 155 or so. With this LO HB at 8w was 176 and 164 at 13w. It keeps changing. So don't worry..

I want to start off by saying I am absolutely thrilled baby is healthy and we got all nuchal labs back today and they were normal so no amniotic stuff luckily. However, it feels like I got a knife through my heart all over again when they said it was a girl. I already knew it was a girl and til they said anything I didnt realize that I had been hoping the early sneak peek was wrong. I'm just a mess all over again and feeling like I've failed bc I swayed all in blue. I dont know what to do. I obviously will love all my children but I'm so done with the comments from family and it breaks my heart knowing my girls will grow up hearing the same shit I did. I plan to break the cycle but man is it hard when even family talks about the negatives of all girls and how I'm the only cousin that isnt a "boy mom"

14 weeks today. Still nauseous and awful food aversions. I was hoping they’d start to subside, but not yet. Have a feeling I’ll be sick the whole pregnancy like last time. I need a follow up scan in the next week or two to see if the membranes have fused. I’ve been so stressed about it :(

So sorry you’re going through this Polaris :( why can’t everyone just keep their damn mouths shut. Those comments hurt so much! Been through similar shit with our family and friends. It sucks!! Do you think you’ll sway again down the track? I had so many people tell me not to have anymore kids because it’s just gonna be a boy! My own mother has been trying to get my husband to have a vasectomy for years because “we only make boys”. Funny because if I would’ve listened to her she wouldn’t have her beloved granddaughter she’s always wanted..

I think this time since we got what we wanted and had our first two close together instead of trying at a year, we will space it out to trying when LO turns two or longer to give my body a chance to rest and see if that would help sway blue

Sorry to hear that you have to go through all this. Why don't they keep their damn mouths shut, but don't give ear to what ppl say, their work is to point out others. They ll never understand others feeling.

How many children you have? 4 boys and a girl if I am not wrong..

Yep 4 boys and I had my girl in 2017. All the guesses on my last scan are girl, so fingers crossed everyone is correct. The boys love having a little sister and really want another. Hopefully I can get another peek at the next ultrasound soon lol.

Mummyof4boys - exciting! How long until you’ll know gender?

Polaris kai - hope you get some relief soon.

Afm - 9 weeks tomorrow and saw my obstetrician on Thursday. Saw bub and looks great! I do have a tiny haematoma though... only .5cm so he’s not worried

I’m having the ultrasound at 18 weeks instead of 20 so they can confirm the membranes have fused. So 2.5 weeks... woohoo!! I’m dying to know :D
I had a haematoma when I had a scan at 8 weeks and it was completely gone by 12 weeks, you’ll be fine :)

Hi all! I've been absent from this thread because around 5 weeks I found out my progesterone level was really low so I've been anxiously taking pills to raise it. The good news is I had my first ultrasound and doctor's appointment yesterday, and baby looks so healthy, measuring 2 days ahead with a 174 HB. I was so emotional! The past fews weeks all I've been praying for is a healthy little baby that sticks. Now that I've seen the baby though I can't help but focus on the gender. I did sway pink with one attempt, and my lifestyle was already naturally very girl-friendly but I feel so guilty. I'm 9w1d so I know that ultrasound photos probably can't detect much but after looking at them I have a feeling it might be a boy. I don't know why. All of my dreams have been girl, girl, girl. I've always envisioned myself as a girl mom, too. I think I need to mentally prepare for a boy so I'm not as disappointed. Regardless, I know I love this baby no matter what the gender :)

Hi ladies, hope you don't mind me joining you. I'm 13 weeks today and due early February.

I have one dd and hoping for another girl. We didn't sway at all, in fact with we accidentally swayed blue as just wanted to get pregnant after 2 losses in the past year. We had sex on ovulation day and I was taking a supplement that also acts as a mucus thinner and I had absolutely loads of ewcm! My diet is also pretty boy friendly.

Had my 12 week scan and am quite pleased we didn't see an obvious boy nub but dont it looks that girly either. I'm convinced I'm having a boy but I suppose I still have some hope that it could still be a girl. Ive kinda actually bonded with the idea of having a boy in my head so Im sure I will be fine if it is indeed a boy.

Is anyone going to stay team yellow/green? I think I am.

Hi everyone.
I hope it’s ok my posting this here but I don’t know who else to turn to. I know I joined the due date group and then went silent. Well it’s because I’ve been really struggling this pregnancy which is unlike me. Usually I love being pregnant. I’ve been crying a lot and just feel so sad. I don’t know gender yet so it’s not that although I suspect DS5 is on the way. I feel like I will never be happy again. I’ve tried talking to DH and my mum but they just keep telling me I will feel better once baby is here. I don’t feel like I’m coping very well this pregnancy and it’s all my fault for wanting another. I feel so lonely.
Sorry to burden you all. I’m so sorry that I joined and then didn’t post again.

Do you have any girlfriends you can lean on right now or that have been in a similar situation? You are always welcome to come here and vent. No judgements. Big hugs.

Iwant4 - I hope you're doing well. Congratulations on a healthy baby boy and no abnormalities!

Weellllllll......I'm a liar LOL so if you've been following my journey I'm pregnant and so is a cousin on DH side and his sister and we are all due in a row. Cousin is having boy and now my sister in law is having a boy and all they can tall about is how they cant wait til we find out and blah blah and so I lied. I told them we weren't finding out. I dont think I can take the comments about how when everyone else is having a boy we are having a girl. On a more serious note I am crushed, I obviously am very happy we are having another baby so close in age to my DD but it still crushes me that my sway failed and we only have probably one more chance to try for a baby boy :(

So sorry that you’re having such a rough time, 3Boys :( do you have any close friends to confide in, or maybe thought of speaking to a professional about your feelings?

Polaris, I think you did the right thing. It’s at least delaying the insensitive comments a bit until you can come to terms with the GD. Some people will never understand the grief we go through, and how much those comments hurt :(

Well my scan is in 4 days...I’m excited, but scared at the same time :/ I’m hoping the kids won’t be too disappointed if turns out to be another boy. I’ve had a few smart arse comments about it definitely being a boy, from so called “friends”. Pisses me off so much!!

Thank you so much mummy and xxb for your kindness. I actually made an appointment yesterday to talk to my GP about my feelings. He’s diagnosed me with antenatal/ prenatal depression. Just talking about my feelings and not feeling insane has helped tremendously. I’ve got an appointment next week and he’s given me until that time to think about if I want to go on medication. I’m in two minds as I don’t want to hurt my sweet baby but I feel I’m no use to him/her in this state.

Polaris I will be lying too and pretending I don’t know when I find out in 2 weeks. I know I definitely am not in a good mind to hear anything even remotely negative right now.

Mummy good luck in your scan

Hi.. I just wanted to ask this. I too have a weird feeling. I felt normal baby movements from 17-18 weeks. I am 22 weeks now and feel movement only low, below my belly button. I am really worried as I googled and found it is common if the baby is in breech position. It's getting me really worried now..

Ladies, if the baby is in breech position mid-pregnancy there is still plenty of time for it to flip. Don't worry about breech just yet. You can also try some of the tips on Spinning Babies https://spinningbabies.com/ to get the baby to turn. :)

I know everyone is probably sick of my rants by now, but this is the only outlet I have right now. I absolutely hate the term "boy mom" right now. I'm so sick of pregnant family members saying it about themselves like it's some exclusive club that I dont get to be in and today one of my DH work friends was working the gate and asked what we were having. I said we weren't finding out and he replied that his wife was over the moon to find out they were expecting a boy and that maybe me and her can be boy moms together. Like wtf is it really that big of a negative to be having a girl in today's day and age. It just breaks my heart that no one I going to be excited about our little girl as there are boys being born around us and that I dont get to join them in their "boy mom" club. I'll be sulking the rest of my pregnancy til I can meet my princess

Hi everyone. New to the group Due with baby #3 March 2020. We had a scare and had NIPT the hormony test done at 10 weeks 3 days and after two sons it told us we're having our first girl. We had a gender reveal and I'm so excited but feel I'm still holding my breath so scared it's not true. I have prayed and swayed for this baby girl. I would be crushed if it wasn't true. I'm 14 Weeks now and go see my Dr. At 16 Weeks she usually does an ultrasound in office my next scan/big ultrasound isn't until 20 Weeks.

I was doing cardio for the 3 months before concieving and a few weeks before was hard core work out classes daily but then went out of town the week after I concieved (thought that month was out) and wasn't doing much of the diet I drank coffee with artificial sweeteners, limited red meat, pushing back breakfast until at least 11am, no breakfast cereals (hard for me) DH was limited red meat aswell. I was on Folic Acid and Baby Aspirin (for clotting disorder) We happened to do Abstain for 4 days before one attempt missionary no lubes 3 days before O. I was so worried about not being better with food but I did lose 18lbs in the few months before aswell.

im so sorry to hear you lost one of your twins  glad to hear the other baby is looking good everything crossed for things to go well, i totally get the anxiety, we lost our second baby at 18 weeks and everytime im pregnant i worry non-stop about loss, i dont think the fear ever goes away no matter how many healthy baby's you have. xx

Swayed pink. Wasn’t on diet/doing exercise as long as I had hoped, as I got pregnant a little earlier than planned [emoji1745]*[emoji3601] I have a private ultrasound appointment in 2 weeks, because I’m super impatient and want to find out [emoji3]

Midwife appt went well. She’s not concerned about her being breech just yet. I’ll book in for the glucose test in about 3 weeks. I’m fairly low risk, but it’s good to rule it out.

I was skipping breakfast, vegetarian, moderate exercise for a few months at least, can’t remember exactly. I only started doing strict LE diet and more exercise a few weeks before conceiving. I did lose some weight and my BMI was on the low side. Was still nursing, hadn’t had a cycle and caught the first egg I guess.. [emoji1696]

I see you’re due in March too! [emoji3]
Will keep you posted!

Hi! Hope everyone is doing well. Nearly 26 weeks. I feel like the rest of the pregnancy is dragging by even more lol. I feel so sick and bloated in the tummy all the time. Heartburn is awful! I have to be careful not to over do it with the housework or I end up practically bedridden for a couple days after from my hip pain :( it’ll be such a relief to finally have her come January lol

Hope everyone is doing well. Welcome to all our March additions that have joined the group. 24 weeks and I'm hurting. I've still continued to lift and swim after getting over the nausea hurdle, but recently I've had to back off tremendously due to some pelvic floor discomfort. I didnt have it with my first so I'm trying to be gracious to myself and not push it though resting with a toddler is hard. Hopefully it passes so I can semi enjoy this pregnancy since we found out we arent high risk this time

Hi everyone. Hope you’re doing well! 28 weeks today. I’ve had a stint in hospital this week. Had an antepartum haemorrhage and cramps so I needed to stay in for observation. They have no idea where the bleed came from. There was a clot on my cervix too and they aren’t sure whether it’s come from inside the cervix or the placenta. I had an ultrasound yesterday and she’s happy as a clam in there lol. And proudly displayed her girly parts LOL. She’s also still breech which is starting to freak me out, but they aren’t concerned at the moment. Fingers crossed it was just a once off bleed. I’ll be so relieved if/when I make it to term! They can’t treat prem babies at my hospital, the closest is 4.5 hours drive from here :( so if I did go into labour early, they’d have to stabilise her first and fly us there, where would have to stay til 32 weeks until they could transfer us back up here. That would be really hard on my other kids and husband :/

Hey, scan was good, although she wouldn’t move her hand off her face the whole time! And the sonographer said she was transverse argh! She’s been going from breech to transverse then back to breech a lot. I’m being sent for a diagnostic scan in a couple weeks to see if there’s a reason she can’t turn all the way to head down. Really thinking I’m going to end up with a c sect this time :(

I have a feeling she’s going to come early on her own like my first son...as long as she stays til at least 37 weeks! Don’t want to stay in hospital away from my other kids for too long :/

Hope everyone is doing well!

Hey everyone!

Had my s&s on Friday morning, waters broke Saturday night and delivered my baby girl on Sunday Dec 29th ! Ended up being almost a 17 hour labour ugh! I needed an oxytocin drip to help with contractions after 12 hours as I didn’t want to go past 18 hours with broken membranes and need antibiotics. She came out tangled in cord, probably explains why she was breech so long too. 37+3 weeks @ 7 pounds 8.2oz, 52cm long. So glad she’s here now <3
