Sorry the picture is so big, I don´t know how that happened.

I think our baby is telling us he/she agrees about going team green:) it´s upside down, the spine is curved and there´s no nub. I think the baby is a bit turned, with his/her back towards us, is that right ?

I´m a bit disturbed by the fact that you see no profile.
I didn´t see it in the screen either, the scan took 3-4 seconds-they did no measurements.
Any ideas why my baby has 3 spines, can the third one be an arm -but I don´t think it would be that long at this stage?
Why does my baby have a forked nub on his head and no nose??
Do you think the black spot on the head is an eye?
Ah, and the white thing down below is a bone and not the nub, right?
And why does he/she not have a lot of black space in the uterus like I saw on most other scan pictures?

Sorry for all these questions, sounds like I´m freaking out a bit, I´m very curious and love obsessing over this picture. I know many of you have been throught this, I hope you understand and thanks for any thoughts!

You can't see anything because that is the back of the baby, back of the head and spine facing out. Upside down like you say. I cannot see anything. Sorry.

Thanks for having a look, I´m relieved that is the back of his/her head :)
I´m fine with not seeing the nub, I would like to find out at birth but I´m having a hard time obviously to not nubsess, so I like that the baby is cooperating on team green.

Ultrasounds are so bad about making babies look weird!! My sister's ultrasound pics looked like the queen alien from the Aliens movies but he came out perfectly cute and normal! The only one I have where the baby actually looks like a human is from one month before he was born. Anyway I know nothing about nubs but I do think your baby looks perfectly beautiful! :)

Ugh ultrasounds...gotta love 'em and hate 'em! Right?! Glad all is well. That looks like a *normal* u/s sound to me....whatever that means! LOL! Yay for team green!

Did you drink 1L of water before your scan? If not i think your bubba looks a little cramped in there because the blackness you see in other US pics is water. I see a cute little bum and part of the leg pretty clearly, and then you can see where the body is and the head but these parts are blury so not uncommon to look strange. Congratulations on your pregnancy. If i had to take a gender guess id guess girl, only because i dont see anything sticking out.

no I didn´t drink 1 L of water, it was done transvaginal, good to know about the water.

Does look like a normal t/v scan pic but like others have said, no nb. It is such a shame that for such an important event they can't take the time to get some good pics for you and make it a good experience of 'meeting' your baby. I have found they treat it like such a dull job and don't get into any of the emotion of the moment or have time to bond with the parents. I would have thought it one of the best jobs in the world!
