Hi friends! I know there is a stickied post where meal ideas were posted, but it is from a couple of years ago, and I was thinking that maybe we could use a new support thread. I like posting on this type of thread because it keeps me accountable for my meals. Feel free to write what you eat each day, or just share some of your go-to LE meals!

Today was no a great one for me. I waited way too long to eat my first meal, and ended up eating a lot of food over a longer period of time

Breakfast: coffee with cinnamon, splenda, and a splash of almond milk
Lunch: 1.5 plain bagels with nothing on them, popcorn, vanilla wafer cookies
Dinner: Veggie spring roll, veggie lo mein
Snack: vegan white cheddar hippeas

Supplements: 1600 mcg Folic Acid

Okay... tomorrow needs to be a better day. I am still 11-15 weeks out from our attempt (depending on which month we decide to go with), but I need to really start to rein it in! going to pick up fiber supps tomorrow!

Today hasn’t been a fantastic diet day!

I had a slice of sponge cake with strawberries and cream and a coffee with milk for “breakfast”. (At 11:30am)

Lunch was 3 pieces of French toast (wholemeal bread, 2 eggs and milk) and a few pieces of chocolate.

Another coffee with milk in the afternoon.

Dinner is a mini vege fajita and then a glass of wine.

A bit of a fatty day, pushing the limit!

I do shakshuka (oven baked eggs with chopped onion, peppers, tomato and spices) or a toast for breakfast, vegetable soups for lunch and chicken or vegetables burritos or vegetables stir fry for dinner.

Yay for this thread! I am officially on the LE diet for a week now!
Been doing good, just need some lunch ideas for keep me not wanting to snack haha! I have zero times for exercise right now! I’m busy with my kids, hoping to start walking but won’t be able to do a full 6 days of it. I will come off the pill in October and try to catch the first egg :)

Same I am going to try in October, we are booked for Disney World for my DD’s birthday the week of Thanksgiving and hoping to be pregnant by then because I will want to eat all the yummy food during our trip! Hope our DD’s get their baby sisters

Would that be 1800 calories? That sounds like hardly any food at all, I’d die of starvation! Do you feel super hungry after eating this or ok?

I just want to mention that both 2 and 3 meals are equally acceptable on LE Diet. There doesn't seem to be any advantage of one over the other as long as you've had a 12-16 hour fast at some point during the day and are not munching all day long.

I’m about to stop BF too. I just googled banana bread, it has 200 calories, 6 grams of fat and 2.6 grams of protein. Where is all the protein? Ricotta? Would that be your normal diet (lots of sugar) or is this your sway tactic? How come no vegetables? I’m just trying to figure out my LE diet

Little bits of protein in various meals (the recipe I use for banana bread is 4g protein per slice), but main protein is from the peas and chickpeas with dinner that night.

Honestly I usually do have a bit more veges scattered through the day, but that day it was all at dinner.

Today

Breakfast
Banana bread x 2
Coffee and milk
Apple

Lunch
Cauliflower soup
Toast
Banana

Coffee and milk

Dinner
2 jacket potatoes, peas, tomato, tomato relish, hummus, sour cream
2 slice choc chip brioche toast

Today's plan (haven't had dinner or snack yet.. also I will probably eat my snack at the same time as I eat dinner so I can have a longer fasting time)

Breakfast: coffee, 2 splenda, cinnamon, splash of almond milk

Lunch: leafy salad with broccoli, daiya cheez shreds, Morningstar chik'n patty, italian dressing. Small Kaiser roll with vegan margarine

Dinner: white rice, red beans cooked in vegetable broth

Snack: hippeas

Really enjoyed my lunch today! I was trying to keep my fat and protein macros low because I know my friend wants to get takeout tonight and since nobody knows we are swaying, I am trying to maintain "normal" eating habits around everyone. Also I realized yesterday that my folic acid pills are 800 mcg not 400, so I have been taking 1600 mcg all along.

Breakfast: coffee, splenda, cinnamon, splash of almond milk

Lunch: diced potato, diced broccoli florets, vegan margarine, daiya cheez shreds. (This was filling and super yummy!)

Snack: fig bar, hard pretzels

Dinner: roasted vegetable sandwich with fries on the side.

Supplements: 1600 mcg folic acid

I’ll jump in a share some of my meals! Honestly I’m pretty boring and eat the same things quite often lol. Almost every day for breakfast (delayed) I eat a Dave’s Killer Bread bagel with a little vegan butter and a cup of coffee with almond milk creamer. Then lunch is often leftovers and dinner is different every night. Keep in mind I am underweight and breastfeeding so my totals are a little higher than most and I can’t eat dairy or soy so my meals don’t consist of either even baked in.

I haven’t completely figured out today so I’ll share yesterday’s full day of eating.

Breakfast: bagel and vegan butter with coffee and almond milk creamer (429 cal, 17g fat, 11g protein)

Lunch: Coconut milk yogurt, coffee with almond milk creamer, bowl of fresh strawberries and cherries, and a vegan english muffin with a little vegan butter and grape jam (513 cal, 12g fat, 6g protein)

Dinner: large baked russet potato (no skin) with A1 sauce, broccoli with a little vegan butter, baked beans, small chocolate brownie (649 cal, 21g fat, 11g protein)

Totals for the day: 1,591 cal (a little less than where I wanted to be)
50g fat (I have a really hard time with not getting too much)
28g protein

It’s not the best and I would have been better off without the brownie at dinner but I wanted it lol

Here’s my full day of eating yesterday!

Breakfast (delayed):
Dave’s Killer Bagel with vegan butter and coffee with almond milk creamer (429 cal, 17g fat, 11g protein)

Lunch:
Coffee with almond milk creamer, nutter butter cookie, homemade creamy vegan tomato soup, and Dave’s Killer English muffin (391 cal, 16g fat, 9g protein)

Dinner:
Canned chickpeas and canned diced tomatoes simmered with spices over white rice and a small brownie and a cherry coke (807 cal, 10g fat, 15g protein)

Totals:
Cal 1,627
Fat 43g
Protein 35g

Today was a difficult day for me. I was eating my feelings, but tried to keep it within 3 "meals" without any grazing.

Lunch: diced potatoes, daiya cheez shreds, vegan butter, Morningstar chickn patty

"Snack": sesame bagel, tortilla chips, hard pretzels, a veggie spring roll

Dinner: white rice, broccoli sauteed with soy sauce

I'm have to work third shift tonight, which I dont typically do. So I am planning on getting a giant coffee with splenda and hopefully not eating at all during the night so I'll have a long fasting time still.

Are you following the same exact sway from last time or are you trying anything new? My last sway got us an opposite but I feel like I had a pretty great sway so it was just “bad luck” I think. The only real things I’m changing this time are that I’ll be adding exercise 6 weeks before attempt and I’ve stopped eating cereal completely. With my last sway I ate too much cereal for sure lol.

I feel a little bit calmer about my sway, and life in general this time around. I feel that this can help because being calm and less type A sways pink, but also maybe hurt because I'm scared I will get to lax with my sway if I am not careful.

I think you are probably right about your opposite just being a "luck" thing. When is your first attempt?

Calories: 1208

Carbs: 208g
Fat: 26g
Protein: 32g

THIS IS NOT ENOUGH FOOD AND IS NOT ALLOWED.

Please, no one look at this diet and now think you're not eating correctly.

The minimums for diet are 30 g fat and 40 g protein minimum. That is starvation level of food intake and is the type of diet that wakes me up in a cold sweat in the middle of the night worrying about you guys.

While I do have minimum cal intake set at 1200 only a very few people go that low. By far more people are on 1500-1800 or even 1800-2000 calories. Maybe 3% of people drop to 1200 Way way way more people are on 2000 tahn 1200 and still get girls doing that!

If you have some reason for doing that (and regardless of reasoning I strongly urge you to eat 40 g protein and 30 g fat no matter what) I would really appreciate you putting that disclaimer on all your posts. If you can't fit it all in 2/3 meals, go to 3/4 meals.

Ladies, I know it's counterintutive but please believe me when I say, it's far better to start off eating too much and then reducing over time rather than to cut back too far and have to basically sway blue just to get your ovulation going again. PLEASE DO NOT STARVE YOURSELVES, you're hurting your health in the long term, your ability to get and stay pregnant, and even your sway by doing so.

It's very common to be hungrier and have less willpower in the 2ww. Just do your best and don't worry about a few slip ups here and there.
