Hi all! Intro are always weird for me but here goes it. I'm Kacey I'm a mom to three wonderful boys. DF and I haven't started TTC yet but I would like very much for this next child to be my last, however I don't feel that I'll feel "complete" with out a little girl. Growing up I always wanted to be a mom, I always envisioned having two, maybe three children. I'd have a boy first and then a girl. Well I had my boy first and I was over the moon, with my second child I felt like he was a boy and that was fine because I was open to having another child. Then came my youngest son, I just knew I was pregnant with a little girl, things felt different...... and then I saw the little penis on the ultrasound :worry: I was crushed for a few days. This time around I'd like to do whatever I can to influence things if possible.
From lurking this site a little bit it seems that the LE diet is recommended so I started that this week and I also buying some supplements. Im going to research and continue planning and then maybe try in sept or october. :fingers:

Hi and welcome! I too went into an ultrasound SOOOOO convinced I was having a girl (all the OWT!)
What supplements are you thinking of taking? Some of them are no longer used widely as they caused a lot of trouble for us and didn't seem to work. So we may want to thin out the ranks a bit on those.
Let me know how I can help!!

I’m taking a calcium, magnesium and zinc supplement and drinking peppermint tea.

You need to find a cal-mag without the zinc as zinc may sway blue (and some supplements have such a high dose they may even be harmful
Does it have Vit. D in it?
We've phased out pep tea as it didn't work, messed up the menstrual cycle, and seemed to inhibit odds of conception. It's up to you of course, just be sure you're not using it after ovulation in months you're trying, and if your cycle goes haywire it's probably the pep tea and you should drop it.
