Any Diet Details?
I put a lot of healthy stuff in my diet. Brasilian nut, almonds, peanut butter (on toast with honey) , smoked ground beef, a llt of red meat, few kinds of fruit a day, healthy fats, coconut water, lemon water, cereals. Theese are all the stuff i have never ate before, but for real! I used to eat some fruits and a lot of unhealthy food, living on caffeine, my meals were just carbs, terrible diet and no wonder why i have 2 girls. I have meals with mostly meat, eggs, a lot of cheese, mixed with healthy fats and vegetables. Started eating veggies, and before sway i ate just potatoes and carrots sometimes. I also had no desire for sweets, i guess i got enough from fruits. So i cut that also, and that was thing number one with girls. Fruit i included: apples, bananas, peaches, pears, grapes, figs, cantaloupe, watermellon, lemon (in lemon water), blueberry. These are most common in my country.

I was never hungry. I have snackes in between every meal, before bed also. Always included some protein in it, and i actually had about 80-100 gr proteins a day. It varied by days, but that is way more than my previous pregnancies.

I was obssesed with diet, planning every day what will i cook, groceries, kind of stressed about diet.
Any Diet Comments/Additional Info?
Husband also gained around 5kgs, did weights, ate preety much all the stuff i ate.

We took some gelatin drink before ovulation. He had beer sometimes, but not so often. He stopped smoking ( he smoke while we had girls)

I used to put few kinds of fruit and fresh water in blender and we drank that as a juice. Dh drank coca cola at work.
WEIGHT AND EXERCISE
What did you weigh/BMI do leading up to O?
Bmi 22,6, i gained 5kgs.
Any Weight/Exercise related additional info/comments?
Lifting weights, moderate exercises 5 times a week ((50mins a day), i gained a lot of muscles. Doing kickboxing training also. Dh saids i changed in personality while i exersised.

Things that make me feel great about my sway:
I was obssesed about every single thing. Really did best i could.

Great was having s.x every other day- suddenly dh have great libido- before sway we could dtd about 3 or4 times a month.

Great was also 3attempts in fertile window, bc we conceived girls with jist one and long abstaining.
Things that make me nervous about my sway:
We couldnt dtd one day after o. Being stressed for 2 days bc of my daughter, dr thought she is sick, but she just have hematuria.
Things worth mentioning:

I just now saw what you wrote atomic! Thank you for blue dust, i need a lot.

Wanted to update that i will know the gender in a 3weeks, i am doing veracity prenatal test (nipt). My symptoms are way different than with my girls, so that gives me some hope.

I saw babys heart beat on ultrasound, everything is just fine, and size is great for my gest.week. I am now 10weeks pregnant.

I sooo so hope that this baby is boy.

Today my dr did ultrasound. Do you know something about nasal bone and its measurements? Dr said it should be a little smaller but i dont have to worry about it, bc it can be in a few days just like it suppose to be. I am 10weeks1day counting from last period. I think its early to look at that at this g.age, they check it usualy about 12-14 weeks, right?

Babys heart rate is 176bpm. With my girls it was around 140bpm. Baby is on totally different side of uterus than my girls. I am very optimistic about sway, dont know why.

Baby is exactly 10weeks1day, not a day older/younger.

The nasal bone is what they call a soft marker, meaning it can be amiss in babies with health problems. But in those cases, there are LOTS of soft markers, not just one. If they saw several soft markers in addition to the nasal bone, we would have cause to worry, but many babies have one soft marker that is just a fluke of development that just like your doctor says, will go away over time.

I agree it's early to check at that age anyway.

Heart rate and side of implantation are not reliable ways to predict gender but we are all hoping that in your case they're right!!!

Good luck and blue dust headed your way!

Thank you for fast answer. Well i am not worried much, just thinking about it, but as i read, reliable time to check that is 11+2 to 13+6. So, its more than a week earlier. I hope it will be ok. [emoji120]

Im saying those things about gender, just for fun, i know its not that easy. We will know soon from nipt. I like to compare things from my daughters pregnancies and now.

I need help! I bought new vitamins, but one thing is worried me- there is 20mg of vit E. Is this safe in pregnancy? This brend is for pregnancy, but for some reason im scared for high doses of this vitamin.

It is a bit more than I recommend. Some studies have shown a link to taking more than 100% DRV of Vitamin E and potential heart defects. It's not enough to be super worrying to me and I would probably take it, but if you can find one with more like 7 mg or so, I feel that to be better.

Again me with some worries- in my second pregnancy dr gave me pantoprazole, when i had problems with stomach acid, nausea vomiting and terrible heartburn.

I had simillar problem now and took it twice- two days in a row 20mg.

And now i read i shouldnt take it in pregnancy.

Do you know something about this medicine?

I woudln't worry about taking it for 2 days. The pantoprozole is simply not proven to be safe, it's not proven harmful, though. Omeprazole is better proven to be safe if you need it.

I just need some time to adjust to situation. Im so dissapointed, yet happy that everything is ok with baby, but, i just, i thought i had everything in my hands. I learned so much about my body, and i feel like it betrayed me. Im sorry for writing those words, this baby will be loved just like her sisters, but man, i need time.

We also were talking about baby #4 but i dont know if i can handle another news like this.

We did everything we could, its just not meant to be.

Atomic, i am thankfull for every single post that you answer, my silly and boring questions.

I SO wish we could break through that upper window of people who still get opposites. It just doesn't seem to be possible to do that, Mother Nature seems to have her own ideas about our baby's gender too.

One of the ironies of this site is there are so many women on here who would love 3 girls. I wish we could just get what we want without having to struggle after it.

Hugest congrats on your new baby girl.

Yes, i know. My husbands sister is over the moon for is to have 3 girls. She have 2 boys, and was devastated when she found out #2 is boy.

Im slowly finding my peace. The problem is that we made major changes in every aspect of our lives. We are so different now comparing to when conceived girls, and it still didnt work. That is why is so hard to accept. I still hope they got it wrong on test, that 11+1 was early or something, its crossing my mind, cant help it.

Is the statistic better for #4 being a boy after 3 girls? My husband is curious :)

I can't tell any individual couple what their chances are. Only what we get with swaying, and that's about 2/3 successful sways for both blue and pink. So some people are going from being 66% likely to have another girl, to 66% likely to have a boy.

Without swaying, while gender is technically 50-50 every time (without swaying) both 3 girls and 4 girls are less common than 3 and 4 boys by 4%. The odds of having a 4 girl family "should" by statistics, be about 6.3% but in reality it's 5.5. That means less people have 4 girls than they "should" mathematically, and a couple who wants a boy in a 4 child family is more likely to get one than a couple who wants a girl in a 4 child family.

Across the boards it's much less likely to have an all girl family than an all boy one and having a mix of genders is by far the most likely in 4 tries (about 85% of couples who have 4 kids have a boy in the mix somewhere) This doesn't mean you have an 85% chance (use the 66% with swaying number or 50-50 without swaying) but just that 4 girl families are less common than they should be.

I read your answer few times, and i understand. I actualy found the statistic also, but i just keep thinking now that we are more likely to have another girl than boy as baby #4..

I dont know, i eventualy will not try before 18months postpartum, and that is long time looking from now. We wanted big family but i thought #3 is gonna be boy, and for #4 it wouldnt be so important. Now i dont know if i want to try this again. We did pretty good sway, i did everything i could and still girl.

I love them with all my heart, i dont want to be misunderstood, but its just not what i planned..

COngrats on a healthy baby girl, though IM sorry that you didn’t have things go the way you wanted.
I was in your shoes two years ago...I SO understand...
I allowed myself to cry and cry for a full weekend. SHE is now almost 20 months old and such a delight, couldn’t imagine life without her. COuld not ever wish to have a boy instead of her- but man, am hoping sooooo hard that #4 if we go ahead and ttc, is a BOY!
Be kind to yourself- 3 girls is amazing in its own right, mine are so close it help so deal with MY gender disappointment;)

Hi dear, so i gueas you understand very much my feelings and what i am going thru.

I love this baby inside me, its mine, i know im going to love her to the bits when she joins her sisters. My girls love eachother so much, they help eachother, have fun, they are always together and are close in age, so they basicly learn everything together.

I just was so convinced that i will have a boy. We did every little thing different this time around. I wanted to experience being a mom to boy also, not just girls. If this was boy i wouldnt mind next 3 being girls.

I am better now, i was so down few days ago. My girls always want their mommy to be happy and smiling, and i have to come back to myself.

You didnt decided yet about #4? If you do, what will you do different?

I thought, and i think my dh was very stressed. Same stress with previous two. I dont know, maybe that was problem. Maybe if we go for #4 , we will go on vacation, try to relax as much as possible.

Its been awhile , i decided to turn off of this site for some time. I am back now reading new threads, and i just want few of you that followed my story, to know that i am ok now with having girl. My girls helped me A LOT, constantly talking about baby sister, they have name for her, we chose clothes and that talking every day and explaining them everything about baby, actualy helped me.

I do want #4, just in a few years. Maybe we will move to another house with less stress so it will be better second time around.

Im now 24weeks, and i will have cs in may.

So atomic, i would like to read what you think, why my sway failed? I wrote everything we did, maybe dtd eod was too much? And how about stress? And what do you think with my husband working with plastic? He is not constantly in tpuch with those materials, but like few times a week? He still is in plastic factory, maybe that have affect on spermies?

atomic sagebrush

I can't tell anyone why their sway didn't work out. That is just beyond my ability to know. There are so many factors that could come into play that I cannot know what happened, some things that may have even happened decades ago could possibly affect the outcome. I thought you had a really great sway and then you just didn't have good luck.

If I could change anything I would not have you take the extra vitamin E and your husband taking the extra zinc. I don't think that affected your sway but it's just a change I would make. I would also use the Preseed more sparingly since it was too slippery.

Twogirls0607
February 4th, 2020, 06:24 PM
I apreciate so much your answer. That is exactly what i neded to hear. I just think there is anything we could change, exept stress maybe. That is why i want few years between this baby #3 and #4.

About vit e, i dont know how you and everyone can understand in sway above. I clicked on vitamins that we took, and i count multivitamin there. So, there were no additional vit e or zinc, it was just in my multivitamin, small dose, i think 9mg of e and 15mg of zink, for both of us. Is this also too much? I think there is no multivitamin in my country that have no e and zinc, and smaller doses than this one. But if i need to skip it, i guess i will find the way, few most important to take individually.

Its hard, english is not my maternal language, i hope you can understand what im trying to say (write).

About preseed, i guess you are right. It was enough slippery without it, my husband thought it will be better, because its good for fertility, but i guess we could skip it.

If we decide to go for #4 , i think i will go for 50mg of clomid-monitored (since that would be my third cesarian section, i hope for twins- but one is also fine, i know there is no guarantee, but i can try) and i will see how are things without preseed, i think diet is mayor thing for fluids, and too much is not so great.

I think, because of stress, i will try for next for example on holiday, to go to see, or mountain, to be maximum relaxed. Dont know why, i think that have some impact also in my sway.

Thank you for still answering my questions atomic.

Twogirls your sway looked excellent, she sneaked through and is meant to be with you :) I think if you had used your sway for all of your children then there would be blue in there for sure. Where you mentioned that your personality changed this is a great thing for a blue sway as it shows how your body is changing into more dominant like the trivars/willis theory says:agree:

atomic sagebrush
February 5th, 2020, 02:33 PM
I'm just going off what I read in the "add your sway" on the first page. You had listed Vitamin E and Zinc for your husband, and later on mentioned multivitamins so I assumed you were taking extra (which a lot of blue swayers do because In Gender recommends that). I have no way to know what you're actually taking other than what I read here. If you are taking them in the multivitamin that was fine, please continue, but when you listed them separately I thought you were taking more in addition.

The best thing for fertility is just your body's natural EWCM. Preseed is inferior so if you have natural EWCM it's ok to skip the Preseed totally.

But, like I said, it was likely none of that, the dice just did not roll the way we were hoping, those are just the things that jumped out to me. :)
