Not to much gender prediction via ultrasound images but on the actual scan itself on that day.

For our previous 2 boys the Ultrasound technician told us to look away from the screen as they ventured down south for all scans (15 week and 20 week).

This time around they didn't ask us to look away on either scan nor did they ultrasound the genitals from what we could see.

Would this sway the gender of the baby in your opinion to be female?

I think it could be. The u/s tech didn’t tell us to look away either when going for the meassurements of the femur bones at around 30 weeks. At 20 weeks however she did tell to look away but maybe because she didn’t know the gender yet and wanted to prefent that I would see gender.

No that doesn't mean anything. They may have forgotten, they may have been in a bad mood (the techs are sometimes very irritable about gender-related issues, I"m told, and sometimes don't bother to tell you guys to look away) they may have had good enough scans from earlier on. This is not at all a reliable way to tell your baby's gender and please don't get your hopes up on this basis.
