I’m pregnant, I’m 10 weeks now and i really didn’t think I was going to conceive the cycle I did. We were doing e4d the 72 hour pattern but after 5 months of trying consistently after swaying for about 30 weeks; I was shocked when I got the strongest positive test I’ve ever seen. I was a bit nervous because I was having way more cheat day’s prior to this. My husband was always saying “another cheat day, you’ve been saying that a lot” I’m hoping it wasn’t enough to undo the time I was on but what’s done is done. We dtd on the 11th with a positive OPK on the 12th and 13th and DTD again on the 14th, so I don’t know if that would be one or two attempts?
I know my sway was decent all the way to like aug/sept, I swayed lightly because I do have OCD and didn’t want that to negatively affect anything so
I didn’t over do anything and was super lax. Towards the end with having a chemical and then just not conceiving I was just kinda done. I didn’t track as much and had a lot of cheats. I felt defeated and then got pregnant. I don’t know if I increased fertility or if it was just the right timing. I’ll be doing genetic testing on the 20th which is when we will find out gender through NIPT.
Has anyone else gotten pregnant after getting super lax on diet/excersize and still have a girl? Just wondering if I have any chance at all lol regardless we love this little bean<3
I honestly cannot remember what my sway was like aug/sept when I conceived but prior to the time frame I was doing LE PCOS
60-70 protein
60-70 fat
1200-1600 calories
45-55 min cardio 3-5 times a week
Weight loss wasn’t going too smoothly but I did lose some within the 30 weeks, it fluctuated towards the end but still weighed less then before I started swaying when I conceived.
In the beginning before my chemical in may I was taking myo ino but stopped that after my chemical
Had coffee every day 2-3 times
Not much alcohol
I did have white tortilla/pasta here and there
Hubby was only having chicken and pork prior to my chemical
And that is pretty much it.

Me!! I was very sedentary while swaying for my DD. I didn’t diet, just went vegetarian so as to not stress about nutrients and tracking. I’m currently swaying again and going the same route. Good luck to you!

Congratulations and fingers crossed this is your little girl. I got my DD not really trying to get pregnant (light sway before trying to convince DH to try for a third after our sway opposite with DS2). Strict sway with DS2 ( my beautiful sway opposite). Wasn’t doing exercise or strict diet with successful DD sway - light PCOS diet with cheat days and one attempt (that wasn't an attempt if that makes sense as was on the oral contraceptive Pill). I think sometimes the relaxed way is the best way. Good luck x

yes people get pregnant on lax diets all the time and get their desired gender. We sway to up the odds somewhat but we always have a chance at either gender no matter what.
Good luck and pink dust headed your way!

Thank you all so much for the replies, regardless we are happy that this baby is healthy after 2 losses! Next week I’ll be doing the NIPT, I will update with my sway when I have the results!

I’m like really anxious on top of being anxious because my MIL is like REALLY hoping it’s a girl, like REALLY hoping. I feel so much pressure lol tomorrow I get the blood work and ultrasound done! My sister in laws results took almost 2 weeks! I’m hoping mine doesn’t take that long!

Ugh I hate it when people are so invested - that's why I never even told anyone I was pregnant with DD till I knew gender (which a lot of people thought was weird but I had to do it for my sanity)

Oy yes, it’s a pain! I mean obviously I want the same results but the extra pressure sucks! Lol I should know for sure in a week and a half! The 2 weeks wait for the NIPT results is KILLER!

Congratulations praying! im keeping everything crossed for pink for you  i also gave up announcing gender (before i started doing team green) to save comments and after a few babies like that i gave up announcing the pregnancy at all because if its not gender comments its family size or age gaps etc.. sooo annoying!!
i can only imagine how much time must drag while your waiting for NIPT results!!

Sorry for such a late response! I’ve been so busy this month!!! Thank you all for your kind responses! I really appreciate it!! Thankfully there will be no GD for me this pregnancy as the NIPT results confirmed that I’m having a baby GIRL!!!
I literally could not believe what I was hearing! We’re so over the moon right now!!!

Thank you all so much! I’m still in shock, there’s no way they could be wrong right? I mean I was 11 w 5 days when I had the blood draw but baby was measuring at 12 weeks 1 day! It feel so surreal!

Nope!! This is for real!! I felt the exact same way when I got my results after having 3 boys. Once she was 3mo old did it finally sink in. After each diaper change I began to believe it more and more. As if her parts would change, haha [emoji1787][emoji2957]!!
Enjoy [emoji4]!
