16 week gender help

Hello,

I recently had an elective ultrasound done to help determine the gender of my baby and would love some incite! The tech was sure it is a boy but I thought you would be able to see the scrotum at this stage and I do not. Maybe I am reading it wrong (I am not very good at reading ultrasounds). Any incite would be helpful I want to surprise my husband and family over the holidays! Thanks!

On ultrasounds they can focus in on some parts more than others, plus the testicles are not descended at this point so what the scrotum is does not look the same as it does in older babies. I agree I think that's a boy! Huge congrats, boys are amazing!
