DH and I have been at this for about 6 months, and this month we have decided to drop all jellies. I had planned to hit the LE diet really hard, but haven't but apparently haven't been doing well as I gained a pound on Wednesday and another today...aargh! I think I am going to ovulate on Sunday, and I'm very worried about gaining weight this close to O.
Should I scrap the attempt and just try again next month?
Should I add jellies back in, even though that means I probably won't get KO (and DH will not be thrilled)?
Or is my attempt still salvagable if I am super-super strict on the LE diet for the next 3 days?
Help!
TIA

I think you still have time to stop gaining weight before your attempt, cut the calories you're eating each day down by 1-200 and see how you get on with that?
it could be natural weight fluctuation due to water retention, etc, rather than real weight gain too
what else are you doing for your sway?

I cut out breakfast, big no-no's, meat and a ton of sodium. I also take cranberry, calcium and acidopholus supplements, wear neg ion jewelry, and drink at least one cup of peppermint tea per day. DH takes cranberry, and a hot shower before each attempt.
That's basically it. I have REALLY watered down our sway, since it is taking so long to get KO
Thoughts?

No, I would just go strict on diet and go for it. that couple pounds is prob. just a little bloating from being close to O. AFter 6 months you have done a lot to make yourself more girl-friendly anyway.

Just go for it, if you can't get pg you have no shot at your DG. some people's bodies react more strongly to swaying than others (and that's good news because you can actually do less that way!)

I agree...
Stay on the diet 100% from now until then and cut out breakfast and I still think you will still have a really good sway.
I know when it was our month trying I felt that I messed up my sway ( We didnt abstain long enough - only 5 days, because we miss calulated my dates) and I was worried that my sway wouldnt work because of that. But it seemed like a waste to miss a whole month because of that. and besides I couldnt stand another month on the diet.
My other sway factors had been 100% so I took the risk and DTD anyway....
And well, the rest is history... I got pregnant that month, my sway worked and I'm having a GIRL.
I know this may not be the case for everyone and it is a very personal decision, because at the end of the day you want no regrets!
GOOD LUCK with your decision

sorry, I missed your reply yesterday
that doesn't sound too bad sway-wise, it'll definitely help!
are you going to go for it?

I agree. Skip brekkie, keep up with LE diet the next several days and go for it! GL!

I agree with the ladies here--stick with it. I think going hard core for a couple days is better than chancing another month of getting even more discouraged w/ diet and other swaying tactics and really throwing in teh towel.
Good luck!!!!

Thanks so much, ladies. I put in a fingertip of aci-jel and went for it!
I am so thankful for all the support, it makes sticking with it so much easier!
