Hi all! So I'm preparing for my girl sway. I've started the LE diet (still trying to perfect it) and will soon be adding in more exercise. I have one daughter (who I had at my lowest adult weight) followed by 4 sons. I am more than a hundred pounds overweight (5'4" and 248 lbs). I've lost 4 pounds on the diet and hope to continue to lose much more. My sway is planned for February /March 2020. I am 39 years old. I had borderline gestational diabetes with my last pregnancy. I do not have pcos. Would myo-inositol be a good choice for me? I see the pregnitude stats (which I believe is just myo-inositol and folic acid) are 17/18 which is awesome! I realize that's a really small sample group though. Being so overweight could the myo-inositol help a lot with lowering my blood sugar and helping sway girl? Apparently you can also take it while pregnant to help prevent GD. Also helping with egg quality can't hurt with my age. What do you ladies think? Add it in? Thanks for helping 😊

Yes I think it would definitely be a good idea provided you are not on medication or have any health issues). I am really not convinced it's TRULY that good - we have really good results with our alternate diet and virtually everyone on myoinositol is on the alt. diet. So I do think there's some piggybacking there, but you're definitely a person I'd recommend it for!

Great thanks so much! Ordering it tonight 😊 Do I need to wait for my next cycle to start or can I just start taking it when I get it?

I should be ovulating with a few days.

Ok. In that case I'd wait till you have ovulated and then take it every other day till AF arrives, then daily.

And fwiw, I am trying to stick more to the alternative diet... Slightly increased fat and protein, doing brown rice / whole grains. I'm doing 2000 calories (60g proteins, 67g fat) because I'm still nursing my eight month old (He also eats food 2-3 times a day) . I have him on vit D and DHA supplements. So hopefully between that and the myo-inositol it will be a good combination! I appreciate all your help! 😊

Perfect, that's what I"d have recommended.
I would probably have you keep myo at every other day during the FP and every 2 days in the LP since you're nursing since he is still a little guy. At the 12 month mark you can bump it up to more often.
