Does anyone know if all sour cream in the us is pasteurized?
I bought the same brand as I always do just in a larger container so I didn’t think twice because on the shoprite website the smaller containers all say they’re made from pasteurized milk, this containers however just says cultured cream. Of course I looked after I ate some! Being that it’s the same brand/type as the pasteurized ones, should I even bother to worry?
Sorry if this is an insane irrational worry, my whole pregnancy has been filled with worry and I’m not even half way to the finish line :(

Pretty sure it all is. I know I always ate a ton of sour cream in all my pregnancies. lol Nearly all the dairy in the US is pasteurized. Honestly the only dairy I think I've seen that ever stated it wasn't pasteurized was some kind of cheese. I get the paranoia though. It's hard not to freak out over every piece of food.

If it's a store brand it's gonna be pasteurized. Big companies don't mess around putting even remotely unsafe products on the shelf.
