I'm almost 23 weeks pregnant with my second little man. I've been told boy at 13, 15, and 19 weeks so I'm not doubting that this is a he. My mom on the other hand keeps saying things like when you're holding your third daughter you can tell me how right I was then. Anyways...🤣 My only question is in this shot (at 19w3d) it looks like the testicles were imaged when I was under the impression that the testicles don't decend until early third trimester. Do they sometimes decend earlier than that? Thanks in advance

It's not the testicles you're seeing, it's the scrotum. There was a study done that showed the earliest descending didn't happen until at least 27 weeks. Testicles tend to drop in either the third trimester or in some cases, after birth. Congrats on your little boy!

You can see the scrotum and also sometimes the ultrasound can capture the testicles while they're still inside the body and make them look like they've descended when they haven't (we all know they can take pics of baby's heart, bladder, etc but sometimes forget they can pick up other organs too!)
I agree, I think that's a boy, huge congrats!
