I just ended my period yesterday (am on cycle day 6 today). Usually get a static smiley opk on cycle day 11 or 12. What is the best time of day to do ovulation tests? I was doing them in the am and then am and pm when ovulation is approaching.
Also, should I be taking musinex starting now all the way up until O day? Tried it out last month and I think I started around cycle day 8, and I did notice a difference in cm.
Am planning to attempt every other fertile day until I get the static smiley....then try to squeeze 2-3 attempts in at ovulation correct? Just making sure all my ducks are in a row here!
Thank you!

I think opk's are best done in the afternoon or evening not in the morning but note sure :) Best of luck with your attempt!

Thank you! I'm using the clearblue digital advanced with the flashing and static smiley. The instructions say only test in the am until the flashing smiley pops up...then can test twice a day waiting for the surge. Hopefully I'm doing that part right!

You should test after lunch and before dinner. That is the time of day the hormone is at peak in your urine. Testing in the morning (while Clearblues are supposedly designed to work in the morning) is not how most OPK are meant to work.

Mucinex is pretty forgiving, start now or in a couple days, either way.

Yes if you can BD that much without hubby getting tired. The most important are the 2-3 attempts around ovulation, so we don't want hubby to get worn out too soon. If the every other day attempts start wearing him out go to eveery 2-3 days instead.
