View Full Version : Boy or Girl Pregnancy

I am 11 weeks pregnant, due on August 26th.
With my first it was such a smoothe pregnancy & I had absolutely zero bad side effects.
This pregnancy is very different to my first & I have had such sore boobs, awful leg aches, exhausted yet couldn't sleep for two nights in a row, feeling really hot, sore throat & headaches. Though I fortunately feel good today.
My appetite is very different too & I have lost weight as have no interest in food. The lowest weight I have been in years.
Do my symptoms say boy or girl or can you ever tell without a scan?
Would love to hear your thoughts x

You cannot tell gender from symptoms. Many people have wildly different symptoms with the same gender and the same symptoms with different genders. A lot of us notice worse symptoms with later pregnancies than with our first, so I would not read anything into that.

Wednesday is so close!!! The link below is a good starter for nubs, when Im watching a scan I basically keep my eye out for the white bobble bit on top which would lean boy, its easier than trying to measure angles on a moving baby :) If you see a clear bobble then go witha boy guess but not definite as could be cord! and if not then I lean girl but always consider it may not have been captured:)

I recently posted my pic in the ultrasound forum, its not perfect but its another example of the bobble flashing off which to me gets a blue guess :) I love nub guessing so feel free to post back and we will hunt down some good examples and videos to guess from off of youtube:agree:

How many weeks can you usually tell by?

13-14 for nub, 16-18 for potty shot. Later is more reliable, but there is a "no man's land" between 14-16 weeks where neither nub or potty is reliable
