If you're really getting your period that soon on Clomid (sometimes people are mixed up about when they ovulate but if I recall you're very knowledgeable) they may need to give you progesterone supps to lengthen it. (even though I agree this is an estrogen issue, the prog supplements will still lengthen the LP)

I suspect it's the weight gain and not the iodine that's helping but I regularly will have people take iodine daily 150 IU when they've been TTC a long time. I would take that daily.

Let's add in iron 18-30 mg daily and zinc 8-15 mg daily.

I would have you up fat to 65 or even 70 g.

if the progesterone cream is available (for most people it isn't) I'd do that without upping the fat. Start 3 DPO and go till 12 DPO BUT of course be sure you have taken a pregnancy test. If you're pregnant you'll need to do them for 3 months straight so you'll need to be sure to be able to get in to the doc and get more if you don't have enough.

the tablets are not terribly effective, the pessaries are what you want.

You can delay till CD 5 or even 6. It's still as effective for swaying although may be ~slightly~ less effective for conception. My gut instinct is to have you wait one more day and split the difference.

I do remember what happened in the past and I do always recommend erring on the side of caution. But I do thing that given what you've described I'd proceed by CD 5 at the latest.

It can be the Clomid. Some people respond better to the Femara. But after 5 cycles it's time for a month off anyway. I would not have you do anything this next cycle and see what happens.

What supplements are you taking?? Some of them make matters worse.

None of those should alter your cycle. I am fine with those supplements at the amount you're taking them.

I think the myoinositol would be throwing gasoline on a fire. It's your choice of course but I still believe the problem with your cycle is that your hormones are LOW, not too high, and myoinositol will simply lower them further.

It's in this thread 5 from the top https://www.genderdreaming.com/forum/gender-swaying-general-discussion/9052-swaying-under-special-circumstances-part-3-pcos.html

In addition to the eggs and fish there is also the full fat dairy. For reasons we do not understand, dairy fat and cholesterol in particular are great for restoring ovulation, and vegetable fats don't seem to be as effective as doing that. I don't want you to just up your omega intake willy nilly, because we don't even know the whys and wherefores as to how it works. The fish is for zinc, iodine, and a bit more healthy fat. Since you're a vegan my advice would be (and I think I already said this but I'll repeat myself on this new page) more saturated veg fat like coconut oil and then possibly a prenatal vitamin 2-3 times per week.

Yes please do add that in. How much protein are you eating now?

I think you're just low in raw materials so when the Femara is in the mix, it requires your body to make a huge rush of estrogen all at once and then it just kinda runs out of juice to make more estrogen in the 2 WW (to extend your luteal phase beyond 7 DPO you need to make estrogen)

If you're doing ok with that level of protein I'd hang with that and then just add the additional fat. It's ~usually~ fat and calories that shortens LP and not protein (so many people for some reason will add in massive amounts of chicken breast thinking to shorten a short LP and it literally never works even when people are eating 90 g of protein daily if they don't correct the other stuff. Fat and cals = longer LP)
