Hi,
So we had our 1st attempt swaying for a girl...and today i got my period.
We ve been preparing our bodies for slightly over 3months with a plan purchased. I got 2lines on my ovulation strip on the 19th and we had happy times that night, 10hours after result. During the week I really felt pregnant, my bbt stayed elevated, 36.68/70 'C, one day it dropped 36.48C and next day it went back up, my boobs were tender and felt fuller, my bbt dropped sunday 3rd 36.32C and aunt flo arrived 4th. On the 29th I began some spotting, I never get this before period & I never got it with my last 3 pregnacys, so i hoped it ws implantation. I dont want to rush anything, i want to do it right with no regrets, but I really hoped we might be lucky enough to conceive 1st attempt...with lockdown so much time at home to think, the mind wanders!!, but on the flip side Im working from home so I can mind my body a little better.
So 2nd attempt will be roughly around 16th, fingers crossed we will succeed. Im back walking the hour, i didnt do full hour the 2week wait but wasnt idle with a 5 & 2 year old lol!...I have kept up late breakfast, 3meals no snacking, 2cans D.coke, fiber & folic. Hubby doing, magnesium, fiber, calcium, olive leaf extract, soya milk, tight undies.
Please, any advice greatly appreciated to fullfill our dream of a pink bundle.
Thinking of you all, during these surreal times, stay safe xxx

Are you guys doing anything like jellies or frequency pattern?? Shallow release?

I would probably have hubby drop tighty whiteys at this point.

Hi Atomic, so lovely you replied, thanks...no to jellies, yes shallow release, frequency we DTD every day 8 days in advance of OV with condom or he does his thing, then 1attempt at 2lines on Ov strip.
Maybe strip was read incorrectly by me this month as period was 4days early. I also went vegetarian for the 3months. Thanks for all your help xx

Just want to add Im 37 this month(tomorrow, pushing on) would this change up my tactics? I did asprin & antihistimine week leading up to Ov last month? Is it best to I lower my food intake for these 2wks before trying? Im finding it hard to get out this week for 60min walk due to hubby working and I wrkn, am I messing up my attempt, I know exercise really sways pink.x

Ok. So it could be that you guys had attempt later than you needed to OR your LP was a bit shorter than average, either is possible.

I would have you drop shallow release as it has really, really cut odds of conception for us and has never been proven to help anyway.

You ~might~ want to try next month with dropping FR, but unless you're in a super hurry, I'd probably give it another month with FR and NOT the shallow release. :)

what do you mean by FR?

That is the frequent release where the hubby releases daily for 7-10 days in advance of having one attempt.

Does this help with conception?
And if my husband is 33?

Or should I avoid it ?
Swaying girl :) x

No, it doesn't help with conception and in fact lowers it.

If your husband is under 35 I would do abstain because it's less stressful and easier to stick with.
