So my coverline for last month was 97.68, pretty typical for me. I O'd on CD 12, again pretty typical for me. Took a HPT at 10 dpo, BFN. Decided to wait. At 13 dpo, got a big temp drop to 97.73 and had brown spotting. Thought it was weird that this would be my shortest cycle on record - only 24 days. (I have charted 31 cycles and I have had 2 that have been 25 days. Avg is 28 days) Then yesterday, had period like bleeding, including a few small clots (sorry way tmi) but way less cramps than usual but my temp was 97.9. Thought that was weird as it usually plummets pretty quickly to 97.4 or 97.3. Today it was a bit higher at 98.0, lighter bleeding today than yesterday. I also had this crazy emotional roller coaster yesterday which was really out of character for me.

So I will probably wait to see what my temp is tomorrow but I am going to freak if it is not down. Guess I will have to take another hpt?? What do you think? We already restarted the supplements and DH's last release was last night...

This is the link to my chart... My Ovulation Chart (http://www.fertilityfriend.com/home/2e2d3) I had recorded yesterday as day one of my period hence the new chart for this month.

Thoughts???

Take another test to be on the safe side, but I think you're having an oddball cycle because of diet and supps.

Remember, you WANT your cycle to be hormonally different from when you conceived your boys. A change in your cycle can simply mean your sway is working.

So, I did not test because I agreed that it must just be wonky temps but huh?? Would you mind looking at my chart again, AS? The average curve on my homepage is the average of my last 5 cycles. Look how much higher my temp is? Nothing is different. I am taking the same amt of Vitex I was the last 3 months. I started thinking about your vanishing twin tonight and thought, geesh, maybe I should test?? I had bleeding for 2 days, 1 day that was really bleeding and 2 days of light, old looking blood. I wont be home until tomorrow so couldnt test if I wanted to but weird, huh? What else would make my temps so high? I do have a cold right now but no fever or anything.

it's normal to have the odd cycle where your core temp is, on average, higher than usual

Update, did you test again?? When in doubt, always test. I would have sworn on the lives of my children that I wasn't pg and that horrible ultrasound as I sat there realizing I had starved my baby for several weeks and taken vitex was one of the lowest points in my entire existence.

I agree with Rainbow, statistically speaking, some months are just going to be higher temps than others. IG would say it may mean that your hormones are responding to the vitex/diet.

I think colds can make your temps higher or lower even without a fever, because it disrupts your breathing patterns.

I did end up testing last night just in case. It was negative. I am pretty sick so I think that must be why the temps are up. I have not been this sick in a long time. Wouldn't be surprised if my immune system was down but I guess that might be good sway wise, talk about "declining maternal condition." LOL. I am seriously considering adding progesterone cream this month post O. My LP was long enough but shorter than ever and just not the same as usual - less breast tenderness, etc. I just hate the thought of having to stay on it for the first trimester but I guess it is worth it if it helps...

Illness does make sense and it does indeed sway pink.

Use the prog cream if you want to but please know that having diff. post-O symptoms month to month is totally normal and may just be one of those things. Feel better soon.
