Hi Atomic,

Aunty flow finally turned up a few days ago. I had my bloodwork results back this morning. My folate and vitamin B12 are in normal range, blood glucose levels are ok but my iron is a little lower than normal so they want me to start taking daily iron tablets and get my iron levels checked in a few months to see if they are ok. Starting pcos le diet this week, I haven't started any tablets yet for pre-conception so I was wondering if I could have your opinion on what I should take, what dose and how frequently?

I was able to find an iodine supplement, so I have that, folate 400mcg tablets, fibre and will have iron tablets picked up this afternoon. Thank you for your advice as always, really excited to start our pink sway,hubby is very excited too:)

:agree: take the iron as suggested daily for 6 weeks then go to 3x a week.

I would take 1200 mcg folate daily. Even though your levels are ok I would like you to take that as a maintenance dose, since the LE PCOS diet may be somewhat lower in folate than your normal diet.

If you want to use the iodine then 150 daily and if it's a higher dose than that take it every other day.
