Hi! I recently went to my 20 week scan with the intention of being team green! All went well during the scan and I didn't see any definitive "bits". The pictures the tech sent me didn't seem to give any clues....but then I make the mistake of watching the DVD with live shots. I seems like there is a brief glimpse of boy parts in the shot where the baby is facing forward. It looks like a potty shot, but I haven't seen any with the skull visible, so I am not sure what to think. I'm hoping that I am still team green, but these shots make me think otherwise. Any insight would be greatly appreciated!! I am going crazy trying to figure it out.

That to me looks more like cord in the middle. It’s very thick and looks like it starts from the abdomen. I definitely have no clue from looking at these! Did you see a nub on your first scan?
Good luck for whichever you are hoping for :)

Thanks so much for your input, Bobster! Unfortunately no 12-week scan. My doctor only offers a dating scan early on and then nothing until the anatomy. I really wanted to wait until September to find out... but part of me is desperate to know. I swayed girl, but I am not feeling very hopeful.

There's no gender revealed in these. That is cord. Sweet baby though!!

Thanks so much for your reply. I caved and got a quick ultrasound to put my mind at ease. It’s a boy! ! I’m disappointed, but It felt good to get some closure and make peace before baby gets here. I’ll be back to sway for number 3!

I am sorry for you that u heard boy at your ultrasound . It was just meant to be. I also had that feeling when I heard I had a second boy after swaying for a girl. I hope you'll get your daughter next time

I had the feeling too but my two boys are bestest of friends so I really think sometimes these things are meant to be. Good luck for next sway but for now try to enjoy your sons lifelong best friend. Hugs to you x
