Mid sway and seeking encouragement

We are trying for the first time this month. Have been on diet. Had sex Monday (CD 10) and Thursday (CD 13), so e4d (72 hrs). DH released once in between those two attempts. Got smiley face on regular OPK yesterday night (Fri - CD 14) and a peak fertility read on the advanced monitor this morning (Sat - CD 15). So, I suspect ovulation is happening later today. Expect to see temp rise tomorrow based on previous charts.

This means my main attempt was ~2 days before O (+ 5 days before). Does this look good to you guys? I feel nervous sticking to the “one attempt” since it is a departure from how we conceived our other two. I’m worried I can’t get pregnant from one attempt 2 days before O. I realize this is probably irrational, just seeing some reassurance from the group.

Please talk me out of panicking and doing it again tonight (would be O night)...

Also, do I continue e4d and do it again tomorrow (would be 1 day after ovulation)?

Augh sorry I just saw this, my advice would have been to stick with e4d. You are only just starting to try, you don't need to add attempts yet. Good luck and pink dust headed your way!

I've think I've just been feeling impatient since the MC in March and waiting for my body to cycle regularly which has thrown us for a loop.

Is one attempt at O-2 days still promising from a conception standpoint (as compared to O-1, for example)? I know millions of sperm are released every time, it's just hard to wrap my head around it!

I stuck to the plan and did not BD last night. Will do so tonight (on e4d pattern) which will be O+1 (temp rise this morning). Just trying to stay positive :)

O-2 is still good chances of conception. Roughly the same as O-1 according to studies.

Good luck and pink dust headed your way! Do absolutely have the attempt, don't skip it even with temp rise as one temp in isolation can be incorrect.

Thank you! Yes, we had our last attempt last night (Sun). Temp was up again this morning so pretty sure O happened sometime Saturday, but I guess you never know. Will certainly update you. Thanks so much again.
