So I know the norm for things like soda is aspartame. But I always wondered about that cuz I have only ever drank LOTS of diet soda and got my last four boys with it. Then I came across your post Atomic about artifical sweeteners for people with autoimmune issues. I have fibromylagia. So I think there might be something to that theory. So I've dropped diet soda and have just had a regular coke a few times. But I would rather not use so many calories in it. I really like Zevia which is a zero calorie all natural soda sweetened with stevia. Do you think this is okay? I tried looking up posts about stevia and it seems like it may be blue friendly. What are your thoughts? TIA!

Some people say stevia sways blue but it's due to "alkalinity" which is unscientific nonsense (well, alkalinity exists but the acid alkaline diet doesn't work and does not sway, full explanation here: https://www.genderdreaming.com/forum/gender-swaying-general-discussion/11684-ph-pickle.html)

I am fine with you having Zevia if you are. But that having been said, even if it's not "alkalinity" we do not have any data to prove or disprove how stevia sways. It's always possible that it could have some other effect, but you'd have to ingest quite a lot to have any effect. It's your call to make.
