All fruit and veg are allowed within limits. Some people don't do the limits and they may find that focusing more on low nutrient veg helps them. But anyone sticking in the limits, just stick in the limits and remember you do not need to count protein and fat in fruits and veg (exception - the protein in beans and legumes, and the fat in olives and avocado) and you count NOTHING in low carb veg (the ones that are not sweet or starchy) you can have as many low carb veg as you want, no need to count them.
Raisins and dates are ok within limits, but if you're on the alternate diet they are very sugary and you would need to avoid them.

Thank you, I've started including more beans in my main dinner dishes which has helped me to meet my limits for daily protein. That didn't even twig with me about dates and raisens being sugary, thanks for letting me know I'll leave them out. Noticed I dont seem to be eating bread much, I found some lovely gluten free wholegrain flatbreads yesterday so thought I might try them with some soft cheese at the end of one of my meals. My skin has settled alot since starting the diet, eating alot less sugary foods than I used to. Haven't any flares in 4 weeks😊 Hoping I can tweak the alternate diet to continue even while pregnant especially if it continues to have positive health benefits

Yes absolutely! The alternate diet is actually much closer to what we should all be eating like, to be honest - great for health and then you can just boost the cals slightly, and the fat and protein to be more inline with healthy pregnancy diet.
It's fine not to eat bread much, there's no benefit to eating it or not eating it. Fine if you like it, fine if you don't.
