Hello Atomic,

I am planning TTC a boy in November. My periods are pretty regular.

I have two questions:
1) When do I need to purchase the plan?
2) When do I need to start taking VITAMIN D and MAGNESIUM (and what is the dosage)?
(I have a 5 months old baby now, breastfeeding - just in case this piece of info makes a difference on when I should start the diet and supplements etc)?

Thank you so much.

Whenever you want! Some people like to buy the plan in advance and have it all ironed out in advance. Others prefer to leave it till more like 12 weeks before they plan to start trying. Whichever would work better for you - the only thing I don't recommend is leaving it till the absolute last second.

Why are you taking Vit. D and magnesium instead of just a good all around vitamin like Women's One A Day? (I ask this because you are the second person today who told me they were taking just Vit. D and mag for a blue sway) I would just take Women's One a Day and start that right away.

Will baby be 12 months old in November?

1)I live in Sweden, I don't have access to Women's One a Day, but I do take multivitamin for pregnant women, it has 10 ug of Vitamin D (which I believe is 400 IU). And it has 75 mg of Magnesium. Is that enough intake for Vitamin D and Magnesium?

I just read on the forum that Vitamin D, Magnesiusm, Fish oil, and Folic Acid are the most important supplements when it comes to boy swaying that's why I was asking especially regatding Vitamin D and Magnesium because I was not sure about the dosage I should be taking and for how long.

2) My baby boy is now 5 months old, he will be 9 months old in November (he was born February 7th 2020).

3) OK, I understand then that I should begin dieting and lifting weights and so on, 12 weeks before November. But the supplements, do I start taking them from now? Currently I take prenatal multi vitamin, vitamin for the Hair which is basically a bunch of Vitamin Bs, and 1000 folic acid (including the folic acid in the prenatal multivtamin and hair vitamin)

The following is the table of the hair vitamin contents:

Vitamin B2 2.6 mg
niacin 30 mg
pantothenic acid 15 mg
Vitamin B6 3.0 mg

As for the prenatal multivitamin, here is its contents:

K1 Vitamin 65 ug
C Vitamin 85 mg
B1 Vitamin 1.5 mg
