View Full Version : Best food and drink when ovulating

Hi there - would love some advice about the best food and drink to consume during ovulation.
Im on around 1500-1600 cals on the LE diet, should I cut my calories during ovulation (on positive OPK) so my body thinks we are in even tougher times?

No. We know this doesn't work because we have data that indicates only 2-4 weeks on diet was much less successful than longer (even just 6 weeks was better than 2-4) even though virtually everyone on diet for 2-4 weeks was incredibly strict and people on diet longer tend to relax and ease up over time. So given this, there's no way anything we do even right at ovulation could possibly sway because if it did, we'd see good results for the people being super strict for 2-4 weeks.

Additionally, when people try to cut back just before or right at ovulation, this tends to delay or even stop ovulation. So you're doing something that does nothing to help your sway, and can delay or stop O (which causes huge amounts of trouble for people and may even cause opposites by forcing people to have to go off diet to get pregnant.
