Hi there - I have been really trying to not have brekkie however usually have an early dinner at 5pm/6pm ish so am pretty famished in the morning.
I know the 14-16 hour fasting rule however keen to really try and not have brekkie - just wanted to see what others tend to do.
Thanks, Victoria

Hi Vic, I usually have a coffee or two at 7/8am, breakfast at 11am, lunch at 2pm and dinner at 7pm and cope okay. I have Diet Coke between lunch & dinner to get through without snacking.

Hi I have lunch around 1 pm, dinner around 6.30 pm and breakfast around 9.30 am. Sometimes a bit earlier if I feel very shaky. I also dring either diet Coke in between or coffee which helps me.

Is there anything else we can drink other than diet coke or coffee? Would diet 7up, tango zero or lemonade be okay? I don't like coffee and allergic to coke :(

I’m sure they’re fine if they’re sugar free / no cals :agree:

It's not breakfast per se that matters, it's that overnight fast. There is no set amount of time to go, just try to go 12-16 hours without eating. So have dinner/breakfast whenever it makes the most sense to you, so you're not miserably hungry (this sets you up to cheat) and can live with your eating times. It's even ok to change up the times you eat by the day - it does not need to be on a strict schedule at all.

anything with very low or no calories (no tea though) is fine between meals. Artificial sweeteners are allowed.

Oh and to give an example of what I did, I woke up around 5am, had coffee first thing, ate breakfast at around 10-11, then a meal at about 4-5 or so, and a bedtime snack sometime around 8pm.
