That's not the classic shot people are given, no.

The problem is when I can't see the baby's form in the proper position, even if there are genitals on the picture I can't say with any level of confidence, I'm sorry.

did the sonographer not tell you what they thought? or are they not allowed to say? the top picture looks boyish to me but its not a clear pic at all and isnt zoomed in on the area. I hope my guess is wrong :heart:

So this is what I’m seeing in that first picture. However, I am not a tech, I am not an expert, and I could 100% be completely wrong. I see it as a potty shot on an angle. So the U shape I drew are the leg, bum, and other leg. Then I outlined the classic “turtle” shape which I think are the boy parts.

If someone sees I’m wrong, please don’t hesitate to correct me.

I see the same thing mommymachine has outlined, a swollen girl wouldnt have that turtle shape. These are just guesses though as this pic isnt a clear potty shot, im sorry they arent allowed to tell you gender, is no-one allowed to find out there or is it just the policy at your hospital?
