Tested out using OPKs in a month before TTC so that I know how to interpret them properly. Also to compare +ve OPK to prediction on a tracker and symptoms

Following which test do I want to drop everything and DTD?

To my mind the day 5 is a clear positive (indeed, AF started 14 days later to confirm that that was O day). Some of the others though perhaps have a faint line?

Do the 3 attempts start after seeing a test that looks like day 5? Is once a day enough or are you supposed to test every 12 hours? Am I supposed to wake up very early one morning to take the test and DTD before my child wakes up to thwart the attempt?https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20200917/4e180e5bf40eaa0554cba2d1ef1f1a60.jpghttps://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20200917/e723a5fd6610e7924136f0b4fbe29e2c.jpghttps://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20200917/2469ff1ccc01300c280d2b888d56f315.jpghttps://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20200917/2fa22108a0453b409969e5357e6c6cc8.jpghttps://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20200917/ad85a5a7f0126b716b4d717cd9ce0fb8.jpghttps://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20200917/3fcb1428deebb8afb4e5013abda83355.jpg

Well, just because your period started 14 days later it doesn't mean you necessarily Oed. you can have a 12-13 day LP too. Most of the time you will ovulate the day AFTER your first positive OPK. So I would definitely start having attempts the night of the first positive OPK and then have attempt that night, then 2x the next day - morning and night if at all possible. Then if you can, have attempt the following night just in case of delayed ovulation.

I would have you test once after lunch and once before dinner. Don't test in the morning or late at night, the hormone won't be at its peak then.

I would have the attempt the time when the test looks like Day 5 but I am wondering if you didn't test at the right time and might have gotten a positive on Day 4 if you had tested at lunchtime

Ok, good news is that it sounds easier to start attempts in the evening anyway.

Test 4 and 5 actually are taken at lunchtime here! I just wondered if for the real thing, the test should be taken in the morning as one of the attempts is best in the morning.

So I would test at lunchtime, DTD that evening, then the next morning and the evening the next day, is that right?

Thanks for your help as always
