Urine PH as a gender indicator?

Hello! Has anyone heard of testing the ph of their urine to guess the gender of your baby? Supposedly if it’s less than 6 you’re having a girl and if it’s greater than 6 you’re having a boy. I’m curious if there’s any credibility to this? I’m 7w4d.

No, it doesn't work. It just measures the pH of whatever you ate or drank last. We had some people back on Ingender who tested this by eating and drinking various foods and then posting their urine pH strips right after and they went from pink to blue to pink to blue over the course of an afternoon.
