It is fine as long as you're not on the alternate PCOS-type diet (that diet has no sugar in it).

As long as you're sticking in the limits of the day, all foods are allowed on the standard LE Diet.

Ive always been a burger&onion ring and milkshake and donut/ eclairs kinda girl. So this "lediet" is a BIG change for me. So, hopefully 2.5 months is enough time eating this way? Do u think i should do it longer or do you think it's pointless anyway b/c I eat too many cal? Btw: im 38...
Sorry, that was my last paragraph-question, Atomic[emoji3590][emoji3590][emoji3590]

I want to know more about you. How do you have time for all this? I lied: that was another question[emoji16]

It is best for most people to eat 1500-1800 cals. A large minority (probably 20-30% of people depending on the month, and if you're breastfeeding you need to be eating 1800-2000 or more) eat more like 1800-2000 and a few people do have to increase to 2200 or even beyond - if they're tall and breastfeeding, for example.

Let your weight and your milk supply be your guide - if you're BMI 21 or lower, you need to hold steady on weight and should not lose any weight, so you may need to continue at that cal intake. If you have some weight to spare, you may want to eat slightly less to lose a few pounds, but anything lower than BMI 21 just hold steady where you are and if you need 2500 cals to do that, so be it.

I would drop the acidophilus as we got overwhelmingly more boys when people were taking that.

You are only eating chili, lentils, broccoli, oranges, and pineapple??

Tomatoes don't really sway blue, that is not true. Most of us on this site eat massive amounts of tomatoes and get girls that way. Fine to continue.

Oh sorry I should have read the whole thread before answering:

Since your BMI is already under 21, you do not need and SHOULD NOT lose any weight. So if you need that many calories to hold steady on weight, that is fine. I would like to see you exercise more like 60 minutes a day rather than 40, though.

Can you estimate how much fat and protein you are eating?? That diet does not sound like you're getting enough fat.

Also, is your cycle regular?? Are you ovulating and getting your period when you expect to?

I do not recommend cranberry juice because a)it is not concentrated enough to have any effect when swaying, so you're just adding calories and nutrients for no benefit to your sway and b) even cranberry supps do not work anyway so it's entirely pointless.

How long have you been eating this way??

What you are describing is not LE Diet. It doesn't sound to me like you are getting enough fat, and I wonder if you're getting enough protein as well. So we need to change some things to help you get and stay pregnant. The LE Diet is not meant to be eating a few vegetables and lentils, you need to be eating enough to get pregnant, so we may need to change some things!

I do this site as my job. So it is like any working mom, I have my time I spend working and then my time I spend taking care of my kids. My children are a bit older now so they work on their schoolwork while I work, and my husband has three days off and he does his fair share of childcare those days too. Plus I've been doing it for 10 years now so that is a long time to have written all this stuff! :)

Are you losing weight very fast?? What is your BMI?No, i stay around 118ish...ive stayed at that weight my whole adult yrs. Im not trying to lose weight, just match better to the girl diet, since im gonna stay at 2500 cal, not less, i thought more excercise would balance it out. This time, maybe ill have a girl, to go with 2 boys[emoji3590]

Orange juice also has a lot of nutrients in it and doesn't help your sway. I'd rather see you eat an actual orange which is less concentrated nutrients and has the fiber which may help your sway.

It doesn't matter. I have seen thousands of people take and drink cranberry and we compiled statistics on it over the course of 10 years, and even had a statistician analyze the results, and proved that even in supplement form the cranberry did nothing. There is NO WAY that drinking a certain type of juice can make people have a baby of a certain gender.

Exercise does absolutely help your sway, so carry on with that.

please don't try to lose weight, I hadn't realized you'd posted down below with your BMI in it. You're already below the cutoff for not losing any more. Just hold steady where you are.
