Did I miss it and screw up?

According to when AF started, I was supposed to ovulate on Wednesday. I didn't start testing with OPKs until Monday which have all been negative.
I didn't bother testing on the Sunday because I thought I was nowhere near ready to ovulate.
Although turns out that my libido increased that night, which I wasn't aware of until late evening time

Did I miss it? Was that it? Is that why the tests are all negative now?

It is possible you surged on Sunday, yes. Or it could also be that the hormone just never got concentrated enough in your urine (false negative) or it could even be you haven't surged yet and the libido increase was due to hormones starting to increase.

Your hormones can approach ovulation and then sort of "change their mind" so you can still surge again and ovulate if you didn't, so be aware that if ovulation did not occur, it's possible for you to surge again and ovulate after this point.
