Hi Atomic

I'm on my third ttc cycle, my period just finished yesterday, and today I got my bloodwork results back that my rheumatologist ordered. Lots of things tested but all I have been told is that everything bar one came back normal. I was told I have elevated immunoglobulin levels- but no other information. I've a review appointment this coming wed with my rheumatologist to discuss my results. I was being checked for possible sjrogrens but my gp and my rheumatologist thought I more likely have sarcoidosis like my dad(although my chest x ray was clear). I do have an anti-inflammatory condition called hidradenitis suppurativa which has been well controlled by cutting out sugar and maintaining gluten free diet.

We have done every 4 day method for last 2 cycles, my last 3 cycles have been between 26-30 days and I've just started getting ewcm today so think I'm in my fertile window. My heart is completely torn as whether to try this cycle or wait until next after I've seen rheumatologist and got more of an idea of any further tests I need done.

Have you had any other members ttc with similar issue? I really want to ttc but I'm very anxious, been a tough time lately my mum has started undergoing radiotherapy and chemotherapy. Was hoping ttc was going to give me that little light of hope in all this, a precious little baby to look forward to.

Thanks for your support and advice

I would probably go ahead. I have found it takes them months/years/if ever to figure anything out and if you postponed your life around waiting for them to do tests, you'd never live since many times you go in to see them and they do nothing anyway.

If you plan to TTC even knowing you have sarcoidosis (if in fact you do) then I would just go ahead now. It won't change anything (looks to me in some cases it may even help) and they'd need to treat you regardless. But if not, then you might want to wait.
