Clomid & Twins - Dosing Advice

I am 37 and ttc twins and plan to use Clomid that I received from a friend undergoing fertility treatment. I conceived my sweet girl on the second attempt naturally 2 years ago. I would be happy with any gender.

Would you advise 25mg or 50mg of Clomid?

Hi dspalding, I have no idea about clomid for TTC twins but I used 100mg when I conceived my daughter and 50mg with my current pregnancy and both singletons. Best of luck with getting your twins! :twins:

If you're using Clomid from a friend I would stick with 50 mg max.

Do you have a preference for the 25 (as in, you're trying to make the Clomid stretch farther?)

No preference as I can order more from Reliable Rx. There just seems to be no clear advice as to dosage if there aren’t fertility issues present. I’ve even looked at the ttc twins website you recommended in another forum.

The dose doesn't change. 50 mg for everyone. it's very unlikely to have ohss or higher order multiples on 50 mg. The only reason I ever have people do 25 is if they're stretching a small amount of Clomid further.
