Microsort UK

Hello,

Does anyone know of any clinics in the UK doing Microsort?
I can't find much info online.
Has anyone tried it?
Where do I start?

Microsort was not approved in most countries because it did not work and cut odds of conception by too much. It has very much fallen out of favor and is now only available in a couple countries.

Again, I haven't reveived any notification to know I have received a reply, don't know why!

Anyway, I am not sure I could ho ahead with either IVF or Microsort, even if they would be an option here in the UK (gender selection for non medical reasons is illegal) as how would I explain the way baby was conceived through IVF when I have already had 2 spontaneous conceptions? not to mention I would have to go to Cyprus so probably that would raise some brows among the midwives at my usual appointments...

Just wanted to see if anyone in the UK has done it, how did they go about.

Yes, neither of those options would be available to you in the UK because gender selection for family balancing is illegal. You would have to travel to a different country to go that route. Many have done it, but it is a challenge added to an alredy challenging situation.

But many people do IVF after two natural conceptions. That's not at all unusual. People develop secondary infertility all the time. It is not anything any doctor/midwife would see negatively because it's quite common.

Yes, I am aware I need travelling into another country to do it.
Just wanted to hear from people that have gone through the process. Not sure is something we would do, but considered it.
