Hello atomic,

I plan to start my attempts in February and I was thinking of adding coq10 to the supplements I am taking currently. I am 31 and DH is 39

I have attached some pictures, please which of them is ok?

Also just how important is exercise to a blue sway?

Thanks for your timehttps://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20210114/5d7ee8786f224580da64b84a40479bad.jpghttps://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20210114/4d772ccaacd7968280d6a06755743098.jpghttps://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20210114/f7ba0297c9d2f21408b48856f2da1360.jpg

the 600 mg is too much, either of the others is ok.

I do think exercise makes a difference, even if you could only do about 15 minutes 3x a week it can help.

Oh gosh sorry I missed that. it's likely ok and possibly beneficial but let's just use the other one because I haven't seen enough people use that yet.

Can I chime in for a question.

How does coQ10 helps with boy sway atomic? My attempt is coming up but I am not having this one. I am also 31. Do I need to add this with my sway?

Atomic please help, I am confused. I have been swaying since July with HE diet, supplements and exercise. I had wanted to attempt in sept/October 2020 but DH had always insisted on starting attempts in Feb 2021.

Last month (December) I relaxed my sway. I went on a vacation and I wasn't consistent with my diet and supplements and I even stopped exercising. I was hoping to go into a full sway this January in preparation for February attempts.

But Dh just told me that he wants to start attempts this month. I am on the first day of my period and I am worried.

Will a 2week full blue sway be enough? I haven't lost any of the weight I gained on the diet last year. But I also drank a bit of alcohol during the holiday.

Please what do you advise? should I go ahead with an attempt this month? Or do I try to convince DH and wait till Feb?

Thanks for your help

It is supposed to help with building muscle mass some and may also help protect against any risks from eating more carbs for egg quality (sometimes when people sway blue they eat so much food they mess up their cycle by eating too many carbs, and it harms egg qualilty, and the coq10 helps prevent that). I don't think it's necessary though. If you'd like to add it I'd just do 100 mg.

It's always your call to make, but I suspect you are absolutely ready to go even if you had an off month this last month. You've been doing all this since July, it's very likely that you just shook off what happened in Dec. (and it was probably not a biggie anyway.)

Always, if you feel you'll live 1000 lifetimes of regret if you try and get an opposite, probably best to wait, but if you're wanting to try this month, I suspect you guys will still be in blue zone and ready to roll!

Thanks atomic, I've decided to give it a go this month. I know I may not even get pregnant this month, but hubby is tired of taking the supplements.

I usually ovulate between cd 12 and cd14. So I plan to BD:
cd 6
cd 8
cd 11 (once)
cd 12 (2 times)
cd 13 (once)
cd 14 (once)

It seems over ambitious but I've told dh that if he wants to try this month, then he has a lot of work to do [emoji23]. Do I need to add in another attempt?

Earlier I had wanted to include coq10 to my supplements, will it still make a difference if we start taking it now?

Thanks atomic

If you can BD on CD 15 great, if not, let it go.

Yes it can still make a difference for your sway! Go ahead and add it now.

If you need to drop one I'd drop the second BD on CD 12 since you have so many others happening. The 2 in one day is most important for those who are sticking closely to Shettles.

Hello atomic,

So far I have been able to bd unprotected 7 times this cycle.

Cd 5
Cd 7
Cd 8
Cd 11
Cd 12 (positive opk)
Cd13 (2 times)

I had my positive opk on cd12 and by cd 13 it turned negative again. I started feeling ovulation pain by cd 11 and it became more intense by cd 13 morning and disappeared in the afternoon.

I don't know if we'll be able to bd again tomorrow (cd14) so we bd twice today cd 13. Is that ok? Would skipping one day ruin it all?

Also just how important is the big O?

Thanks atomic

No that's just fine that you BD twice on CD 13.

The Big O is truly not a big deal. I think it's been somewhat overrated. I personally could NEVER have done a Big O that often LOL and yet I have 4 boys.

Can I ask why preseed or baking soda finger or preseed baking soda combined is not good? My ph is around 6 but I feel my husband's might be lower. So looking to up our combined ph each time we bd. I do have ewcm around O so have just been trying bsf to up the ph but I thought I read that you do not recommend.

Sperm is not meant to swim through baking soda. It is meant to swim through mucus, and Preseed is designed to mimic mucus. You are putting something toxic to sperm that prevents them from swimming properly in your VJ when you need sperm to live and thrive.

The pH of the reproductive tract at ovulation and in semen is tailor made for sperm to survive. Sperm, neither X nor Y sperm, "likes" or thrives in high pH. X and Y sperm like middle range pH, neither high nor low. The notion that some sperm like low or high pH makes no sense at all and you can read all about that here: https://www.genderdreaming.com/forum/gender-swaying-general-discussion/11684-ph-pickle.html

If your pH seems low after sex it is because the lower parts of the vagina are naturally lower in pH and when you have sex it often gets all mixed up. This doesn't mean that up inside your pH is low. Your pH is very likely 7-8 up inside and your husband's semen is also pretty likely to be in the 7's most of the time (unless he'd just eaten or drunk something highly acidic)

As sway tactics go, BSF is not the WORST (douche is much worse) but I still don't recommend it.

Hi Atomic, any tips for extending luteal phase naturally while breastfeeding? Mine are extremely extremely short. And I'm almost positive it's because I'm breastfeeding. I've read people get pregnant while BF and I've had periods return. But after tracking I see my luteal phase is barely 6 days. Thank you

How close are you postpartum?

When are you starting to test every month?

This will fix itself in time. The further you get past when you had a baby, the longer the LP tends to get. If you're eating right and getting rest, it will normalize in time.

I start testing right after my period ends. I usually get a positive opk 2 weeks after period ends but 4 to 5 days after ovulation I start AF again. Af came back 3 months pp so surprised my Luteal phase is still so short. But could be thr night wakings ans feedings maybe? Stinks cause I dont want to rush my daughter to be done BF but im not getting any younger either lol

Yes it could be that your LP is short (and in that case, if you are patient, it will get longer.

Or it could be that you are getting false negatives on the OPK around ovulation and then the positive OPK you're getting is from the secondary estrogen surge.

I would consider adding in attempts 12-14 days before your period comes. If you're not ovulating then, it will cause no harm, and if you are, then you'll have your attempts at the appropriate time.

Hello atomic! Soooo I'm having another lh surge at the moment and I expect to get my peak this evening. We can't bd tonight as husband is at work. We bd last night cd12. Should we bd twice tomorrow and next day? Or just once tomorrow and then once the next day? I'm not sure i will ovulate because my cycle seems off but pending I do I want to make sure I don't mess up my chances for boy sway.

I would definitely have 2 tomorrow and also one the next day and one the following day if you can.
