Hi Atomic,
Firstly, thank you so much for my plan. It really is amazing and I am so grateful.
I’ve started reading through and I am a little ensure about the frequent release for my DH. How often should he release before our one attempt before ovulation? When should be his last release before we BD?
Thank you so much

If you're having hubby do the frequent release, he will need to release anywhere from 7-10 times (or more if need be, say, if your ovulation is delayed) before the one attempt.
His last release for the FR should be the day before your attempt. The attempt should be the only release that day.

Thank you - does that mean he has to release everyday leading up to the day before bd? Or every other day? He said he’s not sure he could manage that much. Is this to lower the sperm count? Obviously abstaining is not an option as I’m 38 and hubby is 42 :happycouple:

FR is every day. If he cannot manage every day, just have him do regular release instead, every 2-4 days, while keeping the one attempt. The one attempt is what really matters.
Yes, it's to lower sperm count, but FR really hasn't done a whole lot for us. If he can't keep up with it then just do the regular release with one attempt, because one attempt has worked.

Thank you Atomic!
Also, where do I find the short version of the LE diet that you mention in the plan?
Thanks so much

The one I want you on is in this thread: https://www.genderdreaming.com/forum/gender-swaying-general-discussion/9052-swaying-under-special-circumstances-part-3-pcos.html?highlight=swaying+special+circumstances

Thank you Atomic!
Quick question - aside from water, all I drink is herbal teas like redbush which I tend to put milk with. Am I best using rice milk, coconut milk or a dairy milk like full fat goats milk? Also, are there any herbal teas I should avoid? Like peppermint, camomile?
Thanks again

Whatever you need to meet your dietary requirements. any of those things is fine. If you're on the alternate diet (which you are) you'd want to skip rice milk as it's quite carby and have full fat dairy or one of the lower carb milk replacers.
You can have whatever herb tea you like but keep ANY kind to 2-3 times per week. Having a certain kind of tea every day can end up having medicinal effects, but if you rotate several kinds over the course of a week you won't have that. :)

Thank you so much Atomic!
Can I just ask about the Sylk and rephresh mentioned in my plan - is that to lower my PH? I am more than happy to use both of them so just wondered!
Thanks again

Yes, ostensibly to lower pH but in our results they really don't seem to do a whole lot!

Popping in to say that I'm also TTC a girl this summer (end of May/beginning of June we will have our first attempt) after 2 boys 🤗 Also doing the PCOS LE diet and following a guide. Looking forward to this journey with everyone!

Hi Atomic,
So do you think I would be better off using the rephresh and sylk or not using anything? Or does it not make much difference?
Also, is Psyllium Husk capsules ok to use as the fibre supplements?
Thanks so much

It doesn't make any difference. The results appear to me that the jellies are not hurting or helping (tho they do lower chances of conception a bit) so I leave it at your discretion.
Psyllium is fine!

Thank you Atomic!
When it comes to exercise I can easily do the 60 mins 6/7 times a week! I do a lot of walking and exercise bike. Just a question about yoga tho, am I ok to do some yoga aswell? Just wondered as it is a strength/toning exercise? I would be happy to leave off yoga for a bit if it’s best not to do it!
Also, I’m just getting my head around the alternate diet. I am vegetarian so when it comes to getting my protein intake, am I better opting for protein from say chickpeas and lentils for example as apposed to avacados and nuts? I eat very little white carbs like bread and pasta so the alternative diet suits me well!
Thank you so much, all of your advice is amazing!!

I would suggest not doing strength training if you can resist the temptation. Stretching/relaxation yoga is ok, but not strength training.
Avocados have very little protein so they're not a good source anyway. But chickpeas, lentils, and nuts are all fine as long as you stay in the limits. Some of my warnings are because there are huge numbers of people who refuse to stay in the limits.

That’s great - thank you!
What are your thoughts on dark chocolate (70%) I do tend to eat this quite often! Is this ok on the alternate diet or a big no no?
Thanks so much

Well, it has sugar so would be not allowed on the alternate diet except as an occasional treat.
Officially dark choc is a no no when swaying pink. Sub in white or milk choc instead. But I doubt this really matters.

I just noticed in another thread that Stevia may sway blue. Is there any information on erythritol? I’m on the alternate diet and I’ve been using it like crazy in my coffee [emoji51][emoji51][emoji51]

Erythritol is a totally different thing and believed to be ok for swaying. I doubt the Stevia does a whole lot anyway.

What about agave nectar? I sometimes put a little squirt of this in full fat natural no added sugar yoghurt! Is this ok as a natural sweetener on the alternative diet! Also is coffee really good for swaying pink? I generally drink herbal and fruit teas but would be happy to add in some coffees too if that helps?
Thanks again

Unfortunately agave nectar still has carbohydrates and thus is pretty much akin to sugar. It does have a lower glycemic index than sugar, but it's still classed as sugar because it's a carby sweetener.
We have had good results with coffee for swaying pink. I do recommend it for anyone who can stomach it! I got my girl with coffee after four boys with all/mostly tea.
