Wanting to switch to folate after 4 recurrent losses [emoji17]. Not sure where which to get.

I buy chewable folate on Amazon. It’s easy to find. Even my grocery store sells folate.

Whatever kind you can find that is available easily for you. As long as it's folate it should work.
What are you doing for your diet? Very high carb?

Thank you. I think I am.notngetting enough carb it's seems to be just around or under 100. I eat tonnes of vege.
I have pasta, rice and some bread and love a glass of full cream milk before bed. I only do the two meals but eat until I am full and Don't snack. Everyday I do an hour on exercise bike. I'm sticking to around 1600 cal. A day

Are you counting the fruit and veg in your calorie count?
How much protein and fat?

I am counting on them.
Protein on average 65, fats 90ish.
Also, have you had much to do with Clexane? I am in the middle of tests atm for autoimmune or thick/sticky blood, nothing confirmed as yet.

Is Clexane the same as Lovenox, i.e. an injectable anticoagulant (enoxaparin)? If so, I take it for an autoimmune blood clotting disorder.

Oh ok then that type of diet should be fine and not contributing to your losses at all. Keep doing what you're doing unless you wanted to sway more strictly via diet.
If you're asking me about Clexane I have not used it personally but have a lot of clients who have. It's good you're having the testing and I would urge you to also have your blood sugar/insulin response and your thyroid tested too.

Thank you so much @atomic sagebrush that is a relief! I was feeling great on the diet.
To our surprise this bub has stuck.
My HCG is rising but very slowly, ectopic has been ruled out and on daily progesterone, hopefully sticks around to hold in 9 months.

@atomic sagebrush how much folate do you recommend for recurrent losses?

2000 mcg unless you know the losses were caused by neural tube defects

Some evidence indicates it helps prevent chromosomal issues with the egg, and it will also help prevent neural tube defects. Take it all thru the entire first trimester then wean off back to the amount in a prenatal.
It's actually not that much. Many sources recommend 1000 (and this is in many prenatals already as a standard) so it's about twice that. Those of us with a history of NTD take 4000-5000 mcg in the first tri.
