Hi Ladies!
I am still fairly new to swaying (we've only been swaying for 3 months) but not new to TTC. We've been TTC for 8 months now with no success. At this point, My husband and I just want to get pregnant. Of course a girl would be nice, but right now we just want a healthy baby. We have a 2.5 year old son and didn't sway for him. At first, I was doing a lot to sway (I thought I could get pregnant immediately since it only took 2 months to get pregnant with my son). I went overboard and used a lime douche, lime tampons etc and I think I killed everything and I ended up with a UTI. Lesson learned, I cut out all of that the next 2 months to sway. My husband also had a SA done before we conceived my son (back in 2017) and it came back with him having low sperm count, abnormal morphology and motility. We suspect that this is still the case but we aren't sure.
This was my sway for the past 2 months:
Supplements for me:
-Myo-Inositol (I took this on my doctor's recommendation for better egg quality)
-Cranberry
-Peppermint
Supplements for DH:
-Cranberry
-Spearmint
(He was using LR but we read some really bad things about how it can permanently damage sperm and we immediately stopped).
Diet:
LE (the best I could- I have a BMI of 20 and I am anemic so I didn't want to go overboard). I also cut out red meat, potatoes, tomatoes and bananas.
Drank crystal light and diet coke (1-2 of each everyday- I noticed that my pH would go down a few hours after CL)
BD:
1 BD the day before ovulation only, took Zyrtec 1 hour before BD, used Sylk (about 1 mL) before BD. (I am also thinking of purchasing some Acijel- it's expensive though, and not the easiest to come by, and not sure if it's a great idea because of our fertility issues)
Can anyone suggest anything to up my pregnancy chances? If they sway girl, that's even better, but like I said, that's a bonus to me at this point. We are going to be going back to a fertility specialist to get a SA done and possibly get on Clomid or Femara (I have a history of a few anovulatory cycles in the past).
Thank you ladies so much!
