From AF to Ovulation

Hi Atomic,

I know you say to have DH release with you, every 2-4 days from AF to your attempts and finish inside you to help raise pH. I want to do this but I was wondering if this is risky. Is it possible to get pregnant if I do this? If this is going to be unprotected and release inside from end of AF and up to ovulation?

Yes, you can absolutely get pregnant from unprotected sex. You will need to have an understanding of your cycle and be able to rely on it being fairly regular to use this method. And then you'll need to use some sort of protection as the fertile window approaches.

But keep in mind you can still BD from after O-AF and get many of the same benefits as going AF-O is. So if you're not comfortable with unprotected sex prior to O, you can skip that and just focus on after ovulation (but be sure you're having your hubby releasing every 2-4 days even if not attempting!)
