Hi ladies that Are trying to conceive a girl. Are you including calcium and magnesium supplements in your sway or are you excluding them? For those that have had a successful girl sways did you take them?

After getting my 3rd and 4th boy taking them, I gave them up to get my girl based on the Oxford Study which found that moms who had boys ate more nutrients including calcium and magnesium than those who went on to have girls. I also had the lowest dairy intake of my life by far with her and ate potatoes constantly, LOL.

If you must take them, be sure you leave out the Vitamin D. Even if you have to use Tums for calcium and take magnesium separately, Vitamin D appears to be a strong blue swayer.

I think you can't see Bunny's signature on Tapatalk but the gender breakdown of her children is in there! If you want to see it, log into the site on a different browser and you can see her kiddos. :)

Found it once I clicked on her name! Thanks!! So I’ve been taking the supplements for over 6 weeks but I’m panicking now and I’ve stopped the last two days because of the failed girl sways with them. Do you think that would make a difference at all if I stopped 3 weeks before my sway?

Also, I posted my sway plan on a different thread just under this one if you don’t mind having a look! I would be so grateful! [emoji4][emoji4]

That’s so similar to me. With DS1 and DS2 I followed the sway from that other site and took the cal/mag. I tried the methods over here and followed LE diet and got DD1. Funny, but a common dinner for me on LE is a fried potato with cheese or sour cream and some veggies. I didn’t sway with DS3. I started the diet but ended up on a bunch of antibiotics and prednisone, which I feel ruined anything I’d done prior to starting them. I followed LE again when I got my B/G twins. The irony was that I’d started the diet while I still had my IUD in. I had an appointment to have it removed in January, but conceived in December. The joke was on me, but I still got a girl out of the pair. I did LE again with DD3 and was successful. Same with this G/G twin pregnancy. I did add in some girl friendly supplements for egg quality due to age this time. The other sways were basically just straight diet.

This is so interesting! So did you do lots of cardio or bd only one time when you got your girls?

I didn’t do any exercise at all. We did BD at positive OPK and the day after typically. My primary focus was on diet, because adding other things would make me obsessive and control freakish. The diet was easy to do without obsessing.

You need to wean off the supps, don't just stop them suddenly. It can be harmful for you to stop supplements suddenly. Yes, it can still make a difference (not to mention you may not even get pregnant the first time out!)

I have your sway plan open on my browser, it was a bit long so I waited till today to go over it.

For my part I did not exercise with my DD (I had a lot of stuff going on) but I still strongly urge you to do the exercise - it's one of the best most reliable sway tactics.

I did BD only once with her. The only one of my five I BD just once!

Most supplements that are claimed to be "for egg quality" do more harm than good or else sway blue. Coq10 (ubiquinol) is something you can add in that appears to be safe for pink sways and may help with egg qualtiy.

I suggest you consider switching over to our atomic fertility form of the LE Diet - 50-60 g protein and fat (not counting the pro and fat in fruit and veg, and low carb veg are free and unlimited) whole grains only, no white refined grains, limit sugar or better yet cut it out entirely, and no skim or part skim dairy, ONLY full fat dairy. Not only is this far better for your egg quality, we also have better results with it than we do the standard LE Diet with the refined carbs.

And exercise is one of the best improvements for blood sugar!

I’m 40. :) My doctor advised I take an inositol supplement (I used Ovasitol packets), CoQ10, and folate. I took those supplements and stayed at the lower end of the diet limits for LE. I swapped most of my meat intake for cheese and whole milk dairy instead.

:agree: we do have a lot of people use inositol for egg quality. However, ladies, PLEASE before you start it, contact me to see if it's right for you and also instructions on what the appropriate dose is. We have had good success for those who NEED an inositol supplement, but it is not ok for everyone, and we have had very poor outcomes for several people who took it when they shouldn't have been. :)
