Hey atomic and crew:-) I am so greatful for this website that gave me my adorable 3 year old boy. We did a much slighter sway in 2019 and now have 3 girls and 1 boy. So here I am again to sway boy for our hopefully final baby number 5! So we plan on starting ttc in August so I have about 2 months to get ready
Here is what i have been doing and a couple questions.
I've started strength training about 2 months ago and plan to keep going as long as I am able. I added coconut water back in my daily drinks and started drinking lemon water as well. I tend to drink lots of water daily anyway. Eating veggie scrambles for breakfast and lots of meat and veggies. I try to have a small bowl of cereal as a bedtime snack and keep to 3 meals and 2 snacks daily. Supplements are: prenatal Fishoil magnesium vit D prebiotic and brewers yeast.. Are these good? Should I add folic acid?
Also I am a daily coffee drinker and finding it hard to give up would decaf be ok on a boy sway? Is there any other considerations since I am 35 and a bit worried ot might take a while to conceive.
Thanks so much for all the help :-)

What prenatal are you using?
What dose on fish oil?
Brewers yeast is ok but not a necessity. What about coq10 (100 mg) daily?
I like to see you guys on 2000 mcg total (including the amount in your prenatal) of folic acid or folate.
What is your hubby taking for vitamins?
Can you switch to tea?
Don't overthink being 35. We are finding that virtually everyone who has proven past fertility (particularly when you've had several children and have had a live birth recently) is able to get pregnant at 35 easily, even up thru 41 we're seeing quite good results. The data that claimed poor chance of conception at 35 and up is not reliable and based on information from the 1600's and 1700's, and has never been updated in any good, large study.
I would have you switch to tea as much as you can. But if you can't give up coffee totally, that's fine. Have 1-2 cups a day of coffee, and more of tea. Decaf is no better so just stick with what you like (and nor will it be in any way a substitute for caffeinated coffee, as dropping caffeine will give you wicked headaches and make you feel quite poorly anyway).

Pre-natal is vita fusion and it looks like I'll add more folate. I also got coq10 to add , fish oil is 2400
Hubby is taking the Costco brand multi and fish oil same dose.
Ill.try really hard to switch to tea. I wonder of I could make iced green tea for the summer?
Any other suggestions? Thanks so much!

That is wayyyyy too much fish oil. Don't take that. No one should be taking that unless they're like recovering from a heart attack and are using that to reduce cholesterol!! We NEED cholesterol for blue sways because that's what testosterone and estrogen are made from, and also that level of fish oil is such a strong blood thinner you can literally kill yourself taking that much if you don't need it (and very few people need that.)
No more than 500 mg max for you and hubby on fish oil.
The Vitafusion gummies???
Both iced and hot tea are fine.

Because people with very high cholesterol, "sticky" blood, and advanced arteriosclerosis may benefit from it. It is not designed for the average person and certainly not young women (who tend to have thinner blood) to take. Avoid those megadoses, they're actually dangerous for you and future pregnancies.

Ok! Will do. Thanks do much for the help..one more question are artificial sweetness bad as well? My hubby like to drink sparkling waters and I'm wondering if he should stop.

Theoretically yes you guys should eliminate artificial sweeteners (with the exception of stevia, tho I am far from convinced that is beneficial for blue either!). I personally very strongly doubt they do much, but most people do choose to eliminate them from the mix.
