Hi!
Gosh its been a while since I have been on here. Life has been crazy busy but good.
I have finally accepted no more babies for us, especially since my cycles have been out of whack since my last miscarriage. We ended up moving out of state in the country . I have not had AF since January so I figured my body was starting early menopause. I had a one time wipe with light pink spotting today.the last 2 -3 weeks I had lots of CM. So is it possible AF is returning after all this time?

Atomic, I hope you and your family are doing well xoxo Still somgrateful for you and your support!

Hi love!

I'm so happy to hear from you and so glad things are going well! Shout out to my fellow country bumpkin!

Yes what you're describing is extremely common - it can go on for years and years like that, off and on. You'll have it for a few months, then it goes away for a few months. I've heard from people who have had AF go missing for a YEAR (which is supposed to be the marker of full menopause!) only to come back again for a few or several cycles. So if you don't want to be pregnant be sure you're using protection until it's been gone at least a year, but even then be aware that it can come back again!!!

Yep things are going well for us - can you believe Suzy is almost NINE? Where does the time go? My oldest just graduated from college and my second oldest has a great job with his own office, which I find incredibly unbelievable, LOL. How are things going with yours???

Well that totally stinks! I was enjoying not having AF around!

We absolutely love it where we are! It is so beautiful and peaceful here.
And I can not believe that Suzy is 9!! That is totally crazy. I honestly don't know where the time goes. I still can't believe you have college age kids either..lol Its true what they says, the days and long, but the years are short!
My daughter is already 5 and my baby is 4! They are best friends, it's so awesome to see the love they have for each other! The Lord has definitely blessed me!

Let's hope it's a one time thing and goes away again!!!

You know, my 4th boy and my girl are the best of friends too. It's actually my 3rd boy who is the odd man out in the family. It's really awesome, I feel like she has not only a protector but a best bud which I had never imagined!

It's so nice to have the peace in this crazy time we live in that's for sure. I'll be keeping you guys in my thoughts and in my prayers, please swing by to let me know how you're getting on!

Thank you Atomic!

Ugh I can't believe I actually did this, just to be safe. As you know in the country there aren't many options haha, so I decided to get a quick test and all they had was blue dye. I have definitely been burned in the past so I'm inclined to think they are pretty likely evaps, but two in.a.row, they shouldn't be allowed to sell them..lol
I'm sure AF will show in the next couple of days.

Wow I just looked up the reviews on these and they are bad! So many false positives! Yikes. They are terrible.
I think I'm safe!

I just adore that sweet picture of Suzy!!

Well dollar tree was negative. I feel a bit relieved and a bit sad but so much had happened and we have so many plans that it would be hard to have another. Although my heart would always welcome another ♥
Those tests are awful! The heart break that they have caused!

I KNOW. They should have been removed from the market a decade ago. I'm both happy and sad for you!

Yes those tests are terrible!
Its bittersweet for sure! AF hasn't showed yet so not sure what that minor spotting was all about. Literally nothing in 6 months

Well, it can come back even 6+ months later. I know a woman not from this site, who did not have her period for a really long time and started up again just like nothing had happened (she had uncontrolled PCOS and it's likely she just wasn't ovulating, took it as menopause, and luckily wasn't having sex at the time it started again).

What no one tells us is that there are HUGE variations on this and all of them can be normal for each individual. So pretty much anything is possible. If spotting does keep going on and on it's always best to have it checked just in case but it's likely just a minor irritation.

Hello djmommy, just want to know how old you are right now? The though of menopause is scaring me. In my case I am 46 and having my IVF treatment. I'm not swaying boy or girl as this will be our first baby. We're doing egg donation since I have PCOS. Most likely I will be at a stage like you where we dread having AF again. Thanks ahead!

Hi! This post was a while ago but just turned 47 and AF has been MIA for months. Have had a stressful year but maybe it is menopause. I'm shocked because I think it's so young but whi knows.
I hope all goes well.with your IVF! Hopefully donor eggs will bump up your chances greatly!

I haven't been on here in forever but for some reason it popped in my mind.
It's crazy, after all this time I still desire another baby, even though I'm not even ovulating. It totally stinks when you know there is not even a chance.

Oh gosh DJ, while I'm thrilled to hear from you I'm so sorry to hear that you're going through this. It's really hard to let go of that phase of life, isn't it?

Hugest ((((hugs)))) and I'm hoping that otherwise, things are going really well for you and your crew.

Hey Atomic!
It seems like forever and a day that I was on here hoping for a sweet darling daughter. She is now almost 7 and such an amazing blessing. Every night she prays for a baby sister. So precious. I tell her it's up to God! And yes, even after all this time...SIGH...it's still hard.
We are all doing well and enjoying our life on the farm away from the city!
Hope you are your sweet family are doing well too. I miss "chatting" and all of your advice!

I just cannot believe how fast the past few years have gone. That is one thing I hate about this job, how for many people I talk to you guys every day and then when you move on, I miss you! Always so glad to hear an update.

Yes we're all well, also enjoying that farm life, and I'm so glad to hear that you are as well!!
